Just today a web based TV show has stopped playing, the circle spins for a moment (as if it was loading) the circle then just vanishes and nothing plays.

I am running Win 11, I have successfully had the video play in Edge and Brave.

Firefox however is being stubborn and refuses to play

search jumps to address bar. I NEED THIS TO STOP IT !!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS IS NOT A GREAT THING for ‘Firefox'. Give us a click button to turn this unwanted or unneeded automatic feature. Please don't offer workaround goto edit deep function programing 'work with me' options, just turn it OFF.

When I click the Firefox icon to start, it is minimized at the top of the creen, I clcik the enlarge button and it just moves it across the screen. I have to click it again to make it full size

Artifacts on webpages when hardware acceleration is enabled. Disabling hw acceleration removes artifacts, but degrades performance of browser significantly. Using hw acceleration in Chrome has no artifacts. The error is not in the hardware or driver, but in the Mozilla software. By searching on this topic on Google, it's a common error in Firefox.

When I am trying to access a photo library for Bing Wallpaper photos I am blocked by Cloudfare error 525. I can using a different browser (MS Bing; Chrome; DuckDuckGo) and it works fine. Only errors out using Firefox since last two updates.'

Lost an open session in Firefox - folder sessionstore-backups doesn't contain anything. Not even the upgrade recovery. Lost or is there still something else I can do? Thank you

I logged into my new laptop and because I forgot my password I used the forgot password option, but now when I login I dont have my previour saved profile and it seems to be a fresh profile.

All my bookmars and saved passwords are missing.

I have always used the same email address for login.

Firefox used to open the bookmarks to the left showing all the bookmarks, ever since that last update not the go right and aren't even the bookmarks I want, how do I change it back

My old email keeps showing up when Firefox is trying to auto fill email. How do I change that in Firefox. Same with addresses, My mailing address is shown in many different ways, all variants of my actual address.

Also, I have some kind of browser hijacker (BING) that keeps directing me to Bing website. I have tried the standard procedures as outlined, bu t still BING often redirects my searches. I am also working with my anti-virus people to try to correct, but thought I would ask you as well. Here's where it took me when I searched for cookies (like you bake in the oven): "https://www.bing.com/search?ptag=ICO-86655dbd68d344bb&form=INCOH1&pc=1AWL&q=cookies"

I have tried preventing Firefox from autostarting with Windows start up by examining these potential program starting locations:

Characters dissapearing, missing, garbled only in Firefox. Seems to be ok in troubleshooting mode. This only happens in Firefox so it appears to be isolated. As you hover over links is when it happens the most. I have the latest version installed and was just loaded on a new system.

When I want to go to the NY Times, and i type "nyt" the address bar automatically populated with the rest of the URL "nytimes.com". When I do the same thing with gmail and "gmail" it runs a search on a search engine instead of completing the rest of the URL.

Why would it do this for one website and not another? How do I fix this, I use gmail all the time so its a bit of a time waster.

I just upgrade my firefox, but it did not import my history, cookies, bookmarks or passwords. I found a backup of the bookmarks (in a bookmarkbackups folder) but how do I restore the everything else?

This might just be a blind thing, I use the NVDA screen reader, but when I sign in to firefox, my password is 12 letters long, but when I look on my settings page, it's 18 characters long, is this normal?

I can log in using my 12 letter password and it's not a master password, I don't have one of those.

Any help would be apreciated.
