Basically, I'm aware there's a quick option to transfer data between one browser to another as long as they are on the same device, but I wanna do the same for two different devices. I'd like to transfer my passwords, history, bookmarks, settings and themes. Is there a quick and easy way to do that?

I deleted Firefox from my Windows 11 computer because it was having issues. I reinstalled but I did not get back the same settings I have on my laptop. I have tried to do a complete uninstall and remove all Firefox files but, there are files attached to my Avast antivirus that I can't delete. Also when I down load it wont Sync. Firefox is my browser of preference and I do not want to use another browser. I should also note that Firefox has been completely removed from program files, program files(x86) as well as program data but there are still file in Avast and Windows. See picture attached. Firefox regularly forces me to restart the browser because of background updates being executed. When loading a new page I get: "Restart to Keep Using Firefox - An update to Firefox started in the background...". (see image below) Background updates of Firefox are disabled in the browsers preferences. (see image below) After restarting the browser, I actually noted, that the version is still the same as before (Noticed this the first time today, when taking the screenshot). (see image below) Anyway, it's a really annoying fact which made me and some colleagues almost leaf Firefox, even though I have been forever.

What is causing this issue and how can I stop it?

System:

• Windows 10
• Firefox 122.0.1 (and prior versions)
• Reproducible on other machines
• Machines are not managed remotely

For many years a happy user. (handicapped with shattered wrist, may be typos.)

My mac spontaneously crashed and rebooted overnight, a rare event. When I came up firefox wouldn't work.

Many, many times I clear out all vestiges of firefox from downloads, applications and every place I can think of.

I then empty trash and I use safari (ugh) to reinstall firefox. Everything proceeds well. When I activate the newly installed firefox application, nothing happens. Eventually in the "Force Quit Applications" it says Firefox "not responding"

I cannot think of anything else to try. Everything else on the Mac seems to be functioning well. The os is 12.7

i keep installing over and over again and launching at the same time and for some reason the error keeps popping up. i was able to launch and play a Roblox games for a few times via browser so its safe to say that u can indeed play on the website its just that the error that it keeps popping out and not launching the game once in a while

My company uses Oracle Fusion as its ERP solution, and I frequently have to download files from Oracle BI Publisher. Prior to V123 of Firefox, which installed this morning, I could click on the file/report in Oracle Fusion, and the file/report would get moved to my Downloads folder. After the update to V123, nothing happens after I click on the file. I had a co-worker replicate the problem after his Firefox updated to V123. Please advise if this is a known issue and if there is a resolution.

Hi jscher2000, I want to thank you for your advice concerning a problem I had downloading Firefox to my Windows 10 laptop. I tried to follow your advice but was not successful. In the end, I googled "what if Firefox doesn't install". It took me to a website, https://www.makeuseof.com/fix-firefox-not-installing-windows , which took me to an article entitled "8 Fixes to Try if Firefox Won't Install on Windows". I tried #1 and #2 without success. #3, Temporarily Disable Your Antivirus Software, worked. Firefox is up and running. Feel free to share this with anyone who has a similar problem. I wish I knew! Problem seems to with name I have for my account with Firefox. I see p348brogden, I think it should be peter.brogden3 but I may totally wrong. I cannot get loading of WPS365(?) to happen.
