For years had bookmarks in folders showing on Bookmark Toolbar. Today they are all gone. Still in my Bookmarks on the drop down Menu, but not appearing on the Toolbar. Please help. Can't seem to drop and drag them there. Also, the Bookmarks Toolbar keeps disappearing every time I go to look at a new tab.

When I select "bookmark this tab", in the Firefox browser, I used to get the window allowing you to choose where to put the new bookmark. This 'bookmark location' window no longer appears so you don't know where the bookmark has gone. Prior to now, this feature has always worked fine.

I quit Firebox and reopened it but the problem remains.

I'm using Firefox 119.0.1 (64 bit) (the most current vers.) on a Macbook Pro running Ventura 13.3. I switched from Chrome to Firefox on this new Mac.

Wanted to export some bookmarks, and couldn't figure out why (latest Firefox) Bookmarks "Library" was missing relevant buttons/menus. (Screenshots attached.)

After testing, found they actually are there, but have have almost no contrast vs background - that is when "Manage Bookmarks" is called from a Private window. But things look fine when called from a Standard window. (No extensions; same in Safe Mode.)

Can anyone advise?

A simple workaround is to bring a standard window to the front first, but am curious if this is Firefox on all systems? Only FF Linux? Only the particular (default) settings of my Linux Mint 20.3 Cinnamon installation, and display? Not even sure a Bookmark management window is ever meant to assume the theme of the foreground window (here Private browsing's dark).

Apprantly Firefox updated last night. I still show all the names of my bookmarks but NONE of them have any information in them. Probably lost my passwords too.

Tried all the fixes shown in prior posts. This is unacceptable !

In the past when I reinstalled Windows and then Firefox, I would sign into my account and all my bookmarks/addons etc. would automatically get reinstalled. Today I had to reinstall Windows and when I logged into my firefox account, nothing happened. Does Mozilla no longer keep these settings for us? I don't have any other devices to sync off of and never have, so where did all those settings come from when I did previous reinstalls?

Why does my tool bar disappear after typing in website in search bar? Book marks appear when I open a new window, however as soon as I type something in the search bar or click on a website the book marks disappear. I have to open a new window for them to reappear again. I didn't change any settings, it happened on it's own. I've added a screen shot for when I open a new window (book marks appear) and a screen shot for when I've typed something in the search bar (book marks disappear). Thank you!

when i go to manage bookmarks i can go to views and sort them by last added, how do i make it, so that when i go to the bookmark drop down menu from the top of the screen so also list the bookmarks in order of last added?

Please help me restore my bookmarks and history - the update seems to have wiped everything clean. PLUS I have multiple Firefox icons appearing in my dock. MacBook Pro.

Is there a way to display a column in the bookmark manager (Ctrl+Shift+O) which would show in which folder each particular bookmark is?

Is there a way to search for bookmarks (in the bookmark manager or the bookmark sidebar (Ctrl+B)) by specifically excluding certain (bookmark) folders (e.g. MySessions, Save for Read Later, BSP2 trash folder, etc)?

If the above is not available, please kindly consider those ever since important features.

Hi - I just reset my PC and trying to restore Firefox. I saved the default release folder (qejikze4.default-release-1669319412153) which contains the latest bookmarks in the "bookmarkbackups" folder. I tried to just replace the bookmark file in the new install (how I previously transfered them), but I can't find the files in the latest V.120 version. Any suggestions on how I can do it?
