setting the default location for Forecast fox.

I seem unable to do this, but I should easily be able to, but despite numerous attempts, I can't figure out how. I've finally given up, hence this plea for help.

If you have a solution, please let me know... Thanx in advance.

I'll not divulge my opinions of this FireFox add-on.

For years had bookmarks in folders showing on Bookmark Toolbar. Today they are all gone. Still in my Bookmarks on the drop down Menu, but not appearing on the Toolbar. Please help. Can't seem to drop and drag them there. Also, the Bookmarks Toolbar keeps disappearing every time I go to look at a new tab.

When I visit the web site virtueonline.org using Firefox browser, the Disqus comment section does not appear below articles on the site. Sometimes, when I go in and out of the article, the Disqus comment section will appear, but not always. When I use Microsoft Edge, the Disqus comment sections appear.

TL;DR : Disqus comments used to work while using privacy Strict mode now it doesn't.

After years of it working out of the get-go while using Strict mode up till recently (about a year ago this was really low on my priority list) refused to work I though it was my Ad blocker was causing issues but after setting it in the filters to allow and even after turning it off still no dice.

Removed all add-ons tried again still Disqus comment section refused to load in the websites I regularly visit. So after giving up, I just look around in the browser setting to see if there is anything that may cause conflict with certain scripts from running.

Hi, my proxy configuration settings got selected to No proxy and I'm unable to update it to auto proxy/manual proxy configuration settings as you can see in the below image, the pop got disabled and unable to select other options.

Steps to replicate 1.open fire fox browser 2.click on settings 3.select general >> Network settings 4.Click on settings

Actual result: unable to edit the proxy configuration settings got selected to no proxy and editing is disabled

Expected result: should allow user to select the below configuration options i. Auto detect proxy settings for this network ii.use system proxy settings iii.Manual proxy configuration

Hi, As far as I know, Firefox hasn't recently updated but somehow my address bar is now below the tabs. I have searched everywhere and can't find a solution. Searching shows that this has been happening repeatedly for years with people having to go as far as adding code to configure it. It has never happened to me until the change appeared randomly today. Am I missing something, or has the option completely (and pointlessly) disappeared? Please point me in the right direction to restore the position of the address bar. Thanks.

Firefox will not allow my to post comments on Yahoo. I have no issues with Chrome or Safari. I get the following error message: Your comment failed to publish. Retry

Please help me restore my browsing session :(

For the past several months I have been using Mozilla, and the feature to restore previous browsing session has always worked well. Even after I clear the most recent history or remove the most immediate cookies, this feature would still work e.g. after I restart my PC or just restart the browser. It would restore all the tabs I was using previously including the most recent tab I was on before the browser closed or restarted. However, this morning, I tried to clear my immediate browsing history as I usually do and the browser froze while I was in the process of clearing this immediate history (continuously displaying the pop-up window/interface for clearing history and not allowing me to do much else on the browser - I couldn't even click anything on the tab I was on, nor could I navigate to another tab and/or open a new tab; and only the close button, and maximize window button, and minimize window buttons were responding). After waiting for a while for it to start working again, I got frustrated and I closed the browser.

I then opened the browser again, but this time, it didn't restore the previous browsing session and didn't even take me to the last tab I was on.

What could have happened this time around? It has not behaved like that for this whole year.

NB: I have not done anything to the browser after opening it! I am still on the same page it landed on when I opened it (just in case).

On a couple of sites (e.g. Petapixel) when I click "Load Comments", nothing happens. I suspect this may be because Firefox security is preventing comments from loading because of site tracking or other security issues. Is this the cause?

My old email keeps showing up when Firefox is trying to auto fill email. How do I change that in Firefox. Same with addresses, My mailing address is shown in many different ways, all variants of my actual address.

Also, I have some kind of browser hijacker (BING) that keeps directing me to Bing website. I have tried the standard procedures as outlined, bu t still BING often redirects my searches. I am also working with my anti-virus people to try to correct, but thought I would ask you as well. Here's where it took me when I searched for cookies (like you bake in the oven): "https://www.bing.com/search?ptag=ICO-86655dbd68d344bb&form=INCOH1&pc=1AWL&q=cookies"

After the latest updates the drm protection prevents any streaming of hbo or prime video content to discord. Is this just a mistake from mozilla's side or did 2 streaming sites decide on same week to start ruining their service for paying customers?

It has reinstalled all my other extentions, but hasn't my password manager for some reason. Or at least I can't find it. I also can't remember the name of it, and so don't know what to search to download it again. Is there a way to see historic extentions or something?

I have an issue with the address bar in private windows. Normally when you click on the search bar in the new tab page, it will redirect the cursor to the address bar instead of letting you use the search bar.

I found the following solution on the forum here that works for normal windows: go to the about:config page and set browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar to false.

For private windows, this fix does not work. It will still go to the address bar instead of letting you use the search bar. Is there another way for me to fix this so that it will also work in private windows?

I deleted some emails on the weekend by mistake so I went into trash to retrieve them but couldn't find them. I checked again this morning and they are still not there. Please help Thank you, Basma Brown

On https://careers.usmc-mccs.org/psc/hprd/EMPLOYEE/HRMS/c/HRS_HRAM_FL.HRS_CG_SEARCH_FL.GBL?Page=HRS_CAREERS_FL&Action=U when I log in and go to my page, Firefox will not allow me to scroll and see all of the information whereas Chrome and Edge does. I am not sure if there is a setting incorrect in Firefox or it is blocking an area from scrolling. I added a copy of the screenshots below from Edge and Firefox.

I use the read aloud function of Firefox regularly and it keeps skipping important parts of the texts! Attached is a screencap of the article I was reading today, the most recent example of this (https://www.analystnews.org/posts/to-understand-the-israel-palestine-conflict-start-with-these-two-simple-questions). I have highlighted the sentence the reader skipped. Do I have a setting not marked properly? What can be done to fix this?
