I can not get into my Yahoo Email account. When I log in it says, "Something's gone wrong".

I can get into my Email through a different browser on the same computer. This started last 

Wednesday (01-29) or Thursday (01-30). Help.

Can you add a configuration setting to Mozilla Firefox to disable Create New Profile, configurable in the policies.json file? (A second option but a much uglier one would be to disable being able to select a file location for a new profile. Then you could make the default profile directory write only, which would also accomplish the same thing.) (A third option would be to able to configure extensions by default upon installation in the ExtensionSettings policy.)

To explain, I use LeechblockNG on Firefox on Ubuntu. Very helpful. By placing a policies.json file (see at bottom) in /etc/firefox/policies/ directory, I can create a system wide policy. I can make the LeechblockNG extension mandatory and to be installed upon every new profile creation. That all works very well. HOWEVER, there is NO way to be able to set those options in the new profile. So LeechblockNG is installed with default options (which are no blocking at all), which effectively bypasses the addon.

I am also writing the author of the leechblock extension to see if there is any way to set the options for leechblock upon installation (the third option above).

But I know other people have this same question, and at present, if I am correct, there is no way to block new profile creation, or the Profile Manager window in Firefox.

So could you please add that option to the Firefox policies.json configuration? Something like "DisableNewProfiles": true would do it.

I have an account with Chewy. When I try to access the link to "My Pet" I receive this message:

400 Bad request Your browser sent an invalid request.

I don't understand why or how to correct it.

My account was probably hacked. I noticed this from an email I received from Mozilla. My account was logged in from Africa, which i noticed from the timezone because the email gives literally no detail. I logged into my account to kick them out but i found out i couldnt because the button didnt work. All the other kick buttons worked except the hackers. Mozilla has done nothing other than to email me.

when I start firefox, it tells me the old one is running and to close it. i hit the close button and keep getting the same message. I have uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it and keep getting the same problem.

Why is my browser stating that it is managed by my organisation.

I have never used it fr work and it is my personal laptop. Please kindly provide steps to remove this

Good morning, after today's FF update - right click dropdown menus are terrible! Nothing works for me... Opening new windows, new tabs, adding to bookmarks, copying, pasting, etc... How can I turn it off because I can't use it. I need to have a menu like in version 133.0.3. If I can't change it, I will have to change the browser because I can't use it! I am an academic. I use Canvas. When I am in Canvas and I try to open a document in it from Firefox, what I get are solid black pages. I do not have this problem with Canvas in Chrome or in Edge. I really don't want to use those Browsers. I actually have this problem with every PDF I try to open from all sites. This is a recent problem. But if I cannot correct it, I will have to use other Browsers.

Suddenly I cannot access one of my email providers [tutanota.com] because, so its error message says, javascript is not enabled my browser [Firefox is my default browser]. BUT javascript is enabled. [I just checked through taking the steps 1) typing "about:config" in Firefox; 2) clicking "accept risk and proceed"; 3) typing "javaScript" in the select preferences name box; 4) looking at the javascript line for "true" or "false".] Javascript was "true". I am managing some linux servers in schools.

Actualy a lot of users are working with firefox.

Depending on how the user is working with firefox, the profil may reclaims a lot of disk space.

Is there a tool working like :

firefox_cleaning_tool /path_of_profile /options xxx

with some options like : cache / etc...

For exemple : the tool flushes profiles caches files and user have no action to do to continue using firefox as usual

this kind of tool should run every month (ie with crontab)

Is there a way to do that ?

I can manual flush some folders contents but I am afraid to do mistakes.

We've used Quikbooks for 10 years + on our desktop. After learning the Desktop QB is no longer supported, we attempted to purchase - access, QB online. This required us to return the desktop version, be credited the purchase amount, as we were prohibited use until this Process completed. Now complete! As Techsoup processes have changed, all the back-forth, just not sure. Prior to QB Icloud purchase- need to confirm we didn't already make purchase & guidance re How to access- use online QB version.
