Hello!

 Since some days I have the problem that all files I download from outlook are accompanied by a preceding UTF-8 in the file name. This is not the case for e.g. google chrome. Can I fix this problem by myself, or is it a general problem of firefox 128.9esr (64-bit)?

When I used a VPN I got this message

   Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)

How do I check?

Or does Mozilla have a vpn I can use?

One page of Firefox 115.21 opened and Task manager memory usage for Firefox reports-:

1) 9,956 K 2) 46,288 K 3) 11,564 K 4) 55,268 K 5) 21,560 K 6) 9,996 K 7) 5,516 K 8) 302,924 K 9) 40,272 K

These are ALL marked Firefox and in order on my Task Manager, the Page 'opened' was Firefox help forum ,,,, some memory usage here, is this right????

The iDrive backup app on my synology nas is accessed via a web browser over my local network using an ip address. It has a two step security setup. First to enter Synology credentials and then iDrive's. After entering the iDrive credentials, all I get is a spinning wheel. It is supposed to present a box to enter a validation code, sent to me by email (which I get). The box is never shown.

The process works in Chrome and Edge successfully. I contacted iDrive support and they told me that since it fails only in Firefox, that I should contact the browser vendor.

There is no error message.

I tried clearing my browser cache, restarting Firefox and my computer, none of which helped.

Please can you advise me?

Bonjour, Depuis quelques temps il m'est impossible de marquer les onglets que je désire conserver. La fonction "marquer l'onglet courant" ne fonctionne plus. Sur le même sujet, il m'est également impossible d'effacer les marque-pages que je ne souhaite pas conserver. Donc, pour résumer, impossible de marquer de nouveaux onglets et impossible d'effacer les anciens qui ont été conservés. Merci de votre aide. Hello, For some time now it has been impossible for me to mark the tabs I want to keep. The 'Mark Current Tab' function no longer works. On the same subject, it is also impossible for me to delete tabs that I do not wish to keep. So, to sum up, it is impossible to mark new tabs and impossible to erase the old ones that have been kept. My computer downloads your updates over and over again, tying up my computer--none of the downloads ever loads This problem is can only be fixed by pull the plug restarts as these downloads will not stop until I do this

A banner appears upper right of screen, stating firefox has 3 notifications (or 1 or 2 etc) but I don't know where to look for them. Can anyone help? I'm using a MacBook Pro from 2010 (when they knew how to make things that lasted) with firefox version 115.22.0esr on macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 (which is apparently the last version I can use as computing has vastly outraced my laptops capacity and we are expected to update everything to catch up with security glitches etc so tough sh*t if everything goes wrong. Welcome to capitalism folks.)

Ahem, but I was saying: where are these notifications and why isn't it obvious?

After using Firefox as my default browser with no issues now for at least 6-8 years, suddenly within the past 90 days I am being signed out of Firefox without my knowledge or consent almost every day. Thus, websites are not recognizing me that always did prior to these issues (Facebook, Amazon, local grocery store chains, etc.) and I am having to go thru full security log in procedures over and over again, day after day. In the past I NEVER had these issues unless I ran a CC Cleaner scan or other PC clean-up software and, even then, I would simply go thru the security procedures and sign in to their site or account one time, then would be fine for week/months until I ran a cleaner scan again. What do I need to do to keep myself signed in ongoing with Firefox so that it does not disconnect me every day and I can avoid so much wasted time with all these security measures for my commonly visited sites (incl YouTube)? If this continues I am strongly considering using a different default browser that hopefully can eliminate these very irritating daily issues. Thanks for your help, Jim S.

Yesterday, April 5, 2025, my Firefox started displaying this message for every search typed in the browser:

"Our systems have detected unusual traffic on your computer network. This page verifies that it is really you, and not a robot, sending the requests. Why did this happen?"

I tried a few solutions: I cleared the cache, restored Firefox, reinstalled Firefox, restarted the internet modem, reset the computer's DNS using the ipconfig/flushdns command, scanned for malware with Windows Defender, and scanned for viruses and malware with Kaspersky, but the problem persists, both in the normal tab and in the private tab.

I contacted my internet provider, and they said there is no problem on their side.

In Firefox, I always use the default search engine "Google".

When I change the search engine to "Bing", the problem does not occur.

The problem does not occur in the Google Chrome browser, only in Firefox.

I am using Firefox 115.22.0esr (64-bit), Windows 7 operating system and internet connection via network cable. I only have one computer connected and I don't use VPN.

Please, can you help me?

Browser pages: Private pages. and non Private pages How do I setup my browser pages from ONLY.... PRIVATE back to NON-PRIVATE pages and/or switch to one type, then back to the other normal pages?

As the first screen capture shows (sorry it's in spanish), my PDF documents tend to not print on the full page, but rather only on the top left corner of it, i've already fiddled with the scaling and fit to page, i have cleared the printer settings from mozilla, still the same, ive gone into the about:config menu and changed paper_height, paper_width, shrink_to_fit, and scaling nothing works. The document prints fine on Edge (screenshot 2), no problems with fit, and what's even crazier is that some PDF files work just fine (Screenshot 3). Honestly i have no clue what else to do.

Bonjour, Voilà, depuis une mise à jour de Windows 11 la kb 5054979 et la kb 5055523 fêtent ensemble j'arrive à accéder à Firefox à l'aide de la souris mais dès que je tape au clavier Firefox plante. J'ai essayer la mise à jour des pilotes du clavier croyant à un problème de drivers mais il est à jour. J'ai désinstallé les mises à jour mais rien n'y fait J'aimerai savoir d’où peu provenir le problème ?. Firefox envoie bien des infos sur le plantage et essaye de remettre les onglets mais le problème reste le même. merci pour votre aide ?
