This morning I went to check my email on gmail, and google asked me to sign in again. Easy, I thought. I entered my account, and then google asked for my passkey. Until this morning this meant that on my mac it would ask me to place my finger on the right key on the keyboard. This morning it just froze firefox indefinitely. I then tried on Safari, and it worked as expected. I checked the version of firefox: it's 136.0.1. Obviously something changed (i.e. broke!) with the new version. Has anybody else experienced this? Any suggested fixes?

The other day, several of my extensions were automatically uninstalled from a bunch of my devices. After going through and reinstalling most of them, the reinstalled extensions don't seem to be propagating to other devices via sync. Newly installed extensions that I didn't have installed before seem to propagate fine. Is there some way I can fix the extension data on my account so that they start syncing properly again?

I'm using my MX master 3's sidescroll to control the volume. I recently switched to firefox, but I noticed that the volume function doesn't work when mozilla is the active app. I do not have mozilla specific settings and it works with other browsers. Any solutions?

Before you answer with a cache and cookies response, they have been cleared. Performance on Firefox has been getting worse and worse. Not sure what the end game is to make a once great browser into a dinosaur but mission accomplished. Frames on some sites are pushed all the way over to the side so they are, either difficult, or impossible to read or access. After a shutdown, the amount of time that it takes for a browser window to stop loading is about 12 minutes. This is absurd. I just tried loading some reels this morning and all it does is spin, waiting for the download. I left one up for 30 minutes and it just keeps spinning. I did cut and paste into Chrome, and Opera and they opened immediately. What is going on?

When I open a PDF in Firefox, a box covers the right half the page demonstrating the highlighter tool. It never leaves. It blocks half the page and prevents me from reading and/or printing. Please help. It's making my work impossible.

Whenever I load the Bank of America home page, a strange 0 byte alphanumeric file shows in the download drop down menu. It happens for each action...loading page, signing in, page navigation, etc.

Any help in understanding what this is and how to fix it will be much appreciated!

Сначала отключаю все блокировщики, страница YouTube обновляется, плеер появляется и всё работает. При запуске другого видео, плеер снова пропадает, появляется белый фон. Запускаю один из блокировщиков рекламы, страница обновляется, плеер снова запускается и работает без проблем.

If I highlight text on any page in Firefox 136.0, and then ask Gemini to "Explain this", Gemini opens in the Sidebar (I have selected the RHS of the screen for the sidebar), but my selected text is not entered into Gemini, and nothing happens. If I try this again while the sidebar is open, I get the message "Something went wrong, try reloading this page" Reloading the page doesn't help.

Firefox in the task bar will not gob to full screen. It shows any open sites but will not expand the browser to full screen. Microsoft edge operates fine from the task bar. How can I fix the issue

Hello,after the most recent update I've noticed a change in the behavior of Firefox. If I have,say 2 livestreams or videos opened (in separate windows) and full screened,if I hover over the Firefox icon in the taskbar,I no longer get a live preview of what is happening in said windows. It shows a live preview of only one,and if I want to see what's going on in the other,I have no switch over to that window,which causes the first one to appear paused. Prior to the last update,that wasn't the case. Was this intentional or is there a new setting in Firefox that I've missed?

I have important Tabs opened for the past few weeks. When my Firefox page closed and I reopened firefox, it was onto a new fresh page. When I go to Menu, History, Recently closed tabs, it just gives me tabs that I have closed. I want to open my Firefox page and have the 10 or so Tabs, that were opened and Not closed back on the fresh page. HELP.

I can't grant camera access to this website. I keep clicking allow, but nothing happens. It's like the button is broken. Someone on Reddit said I didn't grant permission on my phone. But it's already granted with it saying it was last accessed.

I'm using s23 ultra Samsung.
