I was looking for an item that would be a couple of years back in my history, only to discover that my history now only goes back a year and 3 months… Exactly, as of today, I don't know if that's meaningful. Does anyone have any idea what might've happened, and how I can restore the rest of my history? Thank you!

I'm on a Mac using Mojave, with Firefox version 115.8.

I always want the address bar suggestions to start with my bookmarks. Is there a way to control the results? I remember there was something in about:config previously.

We have used Firefox for access to certain sites for years. Recently, we wanted access to particular sites, but the info boxes needed would now not allow entries. Then, we went to Chrome and there was no problem entering the info. Please provide a response to resolve these issues of Firefox not allowing data entry, but Chrome allowing data entry for the same sites.

Am trying to update my email address. When I try to make the secondary the primary, it wants a verification code entered. The field for this code will not let me paste it or enter it manually. Will this glitch be fixed soon?

Others asked and were pointed to extensions. As long as extensions get access to my pages, I'm not willing to use any. So, is there an option in advanced settings, to return to previously viewed tab when I close a tab? Thanks, Cat

I am a Salesforce (improveit! 360) user, exclusively browsing with Firefox for over 12 years without any problems. The most recent Firefox update 125.0.2 (64-bit) has caused an issue with my staff calendar. I have reached out to improveit! 360 they are a force.com developer and they will not help, said the error is caused by Firefox interpreting the code. I have figured out a work around to get the calendar to load correctly for a short term solution. Below is a screenshot of the error, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello. Our organization is experiencing an issue where sound settings are not carrying over correctly to Firefox. Specifically, this is with speaker settings. In multiple calling platforms (tested in Genesys Cloud and Teams), we are not able to adjust the settings for the speaker that audio plays from. We can adjust the default microphone setting, but not the speaker setting. This is only occurring in Firefox (works fine in Edge and Chrome).

Additionally, we've tried adjusting the default audio settings by going to Windows > Sound settings > App volume and device preferences, and changing the settings specifically for Firefox on this page. This does not work. When we check Teams or Genesys Cloud, it seems like Firefox is just picking any default without a rhyme or reason.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your assistance in advance. Since I updated my browser, I've encountered some issues when trying to maximize the virtual screen in my tv. I use a Mac and connect the screen to a web TV to watch YouTube in my big tv. However, when I click to maximize the window, the connection becomes unstable, and the virtual screen disappears every time I click the YouTube icon to do this. This problem never occurred before. I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue. Please let me know if you require any additional information from me.

I noticed that FireFox downloaded a Firefox HTML Document called GnT6qZGD with a size of 0KB, during this time I had tabs open from both https://wago.io/weakauras and https://www.curseforge.com/

Scanned it with Bitdefender and it was clean and when editing in notepad it is empty and a blank page when accidentally opening it.

Then completed a full system scan and it come up as clean.

I have 2 questions,

1st, Is this still a bug in Firefox that appears to have been reported before? 2nd Should I be concerned about it?

Hi, I'm hoping to find some help to address crashing that has been happening frequently. The most recent crash has a report ID: bp-47617fc8-55f9-4d32-8713-a4ce40240426 and this happened while in 'troubleshoot' mode.

So with Google becoming an increasingly terrible company over the years I once again decided to try to move away from chromium based browsers and over to Firefox, but I'm still having the same problem as I did when I first tried. I have since found the source of the problem, or rather a more exact explanation of what is going on, but I still can not find a solution. Basically when I compare the audio of the same YouTube video while logged into the same account with the same settings the audio quality on chromium browsers seems better. After some testing I figured out that it has to do with Logitech's G Hub surround sound option. Using Logitech's surround sound on headsets that support it, the Pro X2 in my case, will change the audio quality by quite a lot, in my opinion it sounds better. The problem is that this change doesn't seem to have an effect when using Firefox.

Is this a known issue and if yes, is there a solution?

I am no longer able to view my Pinterest account via FIrefox. The page is blank and can't see any of my pins. Sometimes, I can't even log in to the account. I have contacted Pinterest and they don't know what the issue is. I have cleared cache, removed extensions etc but nothing seems to work. I don't have this issue with Google chrome or Microsoft edge. I only have this issue with Firefox. Why is that??

Every time I restart firefox, my spellchecker languages disappear, leaving me only with one - the addons are still installed, they're just not available to be selected. Even now I can't spellcheck in english. Please help.

I've had this problem for a while and I don't know what to do.

I had a problem where Firefox kept crashing before it had finished loading up all of my former tabs and windows and so I was given the option of opening Firefox in "Safe mode" which I did, but now Firefox only starts in "Safe mode"...

I'm running the most up to date version of Firefox.
