some items are large, some items are TINY. I have tried resetting my display setting scale, but the url bar, the menu where are my open tabs, the bookmarks toolbar, and some other things re TINY.

Hi, When I click on a link in ANY email, it says " Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site. We can’t connect to the server at omxj86ebb.cc.rs6.net. If you entered the right address, you can:

   Try again later
   Check your network connection
   Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)

I know I did something to make my computer more secure, but don't remember. Please help! THANK YOU!

Firefox closes my window too fast-feels like after seconds of inactivity. Can I extend to 5 or 10 minutes? I live alone so o no one is going to run in here and get on my computer when I get up to let the dog out.

I use Firefox for genealogy research because it always keeps track of which pages I've previously accessed since their hyperlink will change color. Today, I ran Microsoft's PC Manager software and it suggested clearing the cache of Chrome and Edge. For some reason it also must have cleared the cache of Firefox since the previously accessed hyperlinks are no longer a different color. Since I had a created a restore point this morning before installing PC Manager, I restored the system to that point. Following the restore, Firefox would not open so I re-installed it from the website. I had previously backed up the profile folder and so copied that to the new profile folder of the fresh install. My bookmarks and history seem to be fine but I still don't see a color difference in the previously accessed hyperlinks. Any suggestions on how to get them back would be greatly appreciated.

You did a new mozilla today and my bookmarks and bookmark tool bar are gone everywhere. How do I get back to profile yesterday 2/10/2026. It deleted my settings in TOOLs, Settings. Especially in security, how I want my home screen to look. This is horrible. Help.

I have Norton 360. I just reinstalled a brother printer and now I get the "Your browser is being managed by your organization". While I sync with my laptop, as others have said, I'm not an organization. There is an Enterprise policy .

I can't store or edit any bookmarks. How do I correct this? I need answers in very simple terms as I am very much a layman with computers. Thank You!

After updating to Firefox 147.0.3 all of my browser history (along with open tabs at the time of updating) is lost. I just updated to Windows 11 workstations (plus a couple of older Windows 10 workstations) to the current (Feb 2026) updates too. However the history data was lost before the Windows updates. I noticed that with the previous update of Firefox that saved login information was also lost. Who is doing your program updates, a chimp?

In the past when an update was done the browser would open back up with all of the previous versions session tabs in tact. But not now.

I've lost several tabs of research that was being done. Based on what has been happening, I will HAVE to change to some other browser. This is a shame as I've been a loyal Firefox user since day one. Good bye Mozilla and Firefox.

New Window slider (see screen shot ) in settings unchecks when Firefox is closed and opened. I have completed a fully uninstalled FF and completed a clean installation to check that was not the issue. It was not. It has been a few weeks now so not sure which upgrade fried it.

ich habe ein Problem. Beim gestrigen Hochfahren meines Rechners und Start von Firefox war meine ganze Struktur weg.

Tabs und Gruppen waren futsch und somit wurden alle darin gespeicherten Seiten ohne Struktur angezeigt. :-(

Wie kann ich die Gruppen wieder öffnen?

Online habe ich hierzu nichts gefunden.

Answer: Thanks for flagging this. We’re aware that some parts of the newsletter may not display correctly in Firefox, while they do load in other browsers. Unfortunately, this is a browser-specific issue and not something we’re able to control on our end.

I don't know how to get to my prior question to update it I submitted a support question a short time ago about Firefox manage bookmarks using Waterfox version. I now think I could have been duped by the colour of the window bar. I have also found that firefox manage bookmarks does not show individual bookmarks that are not in folders - in the left pane. This also threw me. However, when I click on Bookmarks menu in left pane, the individual bookmarks are all shown in the RHS pane. I have done a quick check and the list does not contain at least two bookmark folders that are in my Waterfox bookmarks - I did not try to check all. I now think there is no problem. Interested whether anyone else has raised this. MY SUGGESTION - in the past I am confident that manage bookmarks function did not use waterfox color. In the next update try to change the manage bookmarks function window to a color different to Waterfox colors. This may not be possible if waterfox simply inherits the manage bookmarks function code incl colors.

Prior question text pasted here for completeness Yesterday I was using both Firefox and Waterfox. Since then when I try to use manage bookmarks in Firefox - I get the waterfox version of manage bookmarks showing the waterfox bookmarks list. Is there a way to get the firefox manage books back again

When I try to exit the fire fox browser I delete all cookies then select exit and close it out. However when start my computer the next time I get a message that fire fox is already running and if I hit the cancel button it freezes the screen and I have no options to move on. So how should you do a normal shutdown off the browser?
