I haven't been able to log in to Yahoo on FF esr for 2 weeks. I never had issues before and I can still log in with other browsers on the same device (windows computer).

Until today I was able to get a verification code sent to my email (which I accessed by logging in with another browser and inputting it into Yahoo on FF) but that stopped working.

I tried FF in troubleshoot mode & private browsing window, I've always had FF set to clear cookies/cache on closing EXCEPT Yahoo but I also tried deleting the Yahoo cookies and it made no difference, my email on FF settings has ALWAYS been set to Yahoo. I made absolutely no changes to any settings before it stopped recognizing FF.

I can't contact Yahoo because my 30-year-old email is a free account.

Why is Yahoo no longer recognizing FF (esr)? Is this to do with the most recent update?? I don't know if this is a Yahoo issue or a FF issue (but obviously there's something about FF Yahoo doesn't like). I don't know if this is affecting anyone else but it's REALLY frustrating because now I have to open a second browser just to check my email.

I got a prompt requesting i allow a midi device plugin to install but..... I denied and selected the "never ask again" option. Turns out i do need this device installed. How can i get the prompt back after i denied and checked "never again".

Hi. I want to sync with my work pc (it used to work just fine but when I synced to a newer third pc- successfully- it just stopped). When i try to sign in on the work pc it asks me for the primary password which it then FAILS to recognise to allow me to proceed! What's going on? Hi, I'm a Firefox user since around 2004. Whenever I used FF i always opened multiple windows of FF. At some point Mozilla came out with Tabs. I don't use them and as a matter of fact I use the option under settings to open links in a new window (not tabs). Always have, Why? Habit I guess from the times I first starting using FF. I seriously don't use Tabs. I would like to Remove the Tab Bar from FF because of this reason and it frees up a lot of visual space on my browser. I've spent hours reading/searching/trying on "how" to remove or at least hide the Tab Bar. Waste of time so far, so I decided to Post the Question.

Hello. It seems that Google has created a way of "dealing with" Firefox's automatic removal of the page seeking one's acceptance or rejection of cookies. Each time I refresh the page, the accept/reject cookies pop-up briefly flicks on-screen but then disappears and one is back at the consent page:

So as things are, I cannot access the consent page to either reject or accept the cookies, and therefore I cannot get past the consent page and into googlemaps.

Google may be aware of Firefox's way of "dealing with" the consent page and has found a way of making it impossible for people to proceed to use of the googlemaps website.

A friend has passed away and I cannot access her obituary page. I could for a couple of days but I can't any more. Is this a problem with the FF latest upgrade? The page is [link removed by moderator]

I have just discovered the page works ok on Chrome so I will use that for now, but I am reporting the problem to try and help you. I am using latest version of Firefox.

Since the last Firefox update I have been unable to login to my bank's website. Attached is a screenshot of the message that appears. As a test I tried logging in with Google Chrome and was successful so it is likely something with the last update of Firefox. Note that I am using Windows 7 and do not want to change to a newer version.

I'm having a problem with websites not remembering my zoom percentage settings. The zoom settings were remembering on my administrator account until recently. The strange thing is that zoom settings on websites ARE remembered in my standard user account on the same device. I am talking about private browsing only & after I close the session & reopen another Firefox session. Thank you

On one web site (see attachments), my location is being detected as being outside USA while using firefox desktop browser, yet on the same computer, my location is being correctly detected as being inside USA.

You will see the asian words. When I change the pull dawn tab ("Saudi Arabia") to "USA", the asian lettering does not convert to English.

Not sure how to fix this.

I need to install a browser on a Windows 7 laptop that I'm trying to get operational so the files / data can be migrated to another platform. I would like to use Firefox if possible.

I'm thinking I would need a prior version. If so, what version should I choose and where do I get it from?

I can't get to my gmail account if I go to firefox as a search and enter the single word GMAIL. Before anything else is entered, I end up at my wife's account. Why should that be and how to get to any other email account. I have the same problem with CROME except there it appears to be bound to MY account - the word GMAIL must trigger some fixed, prior established, link that was not intended. The fixed link in Firefox predates 115. I rarely use CROME. The Firefox linkage was very strange, but I mostly accessed MY account via Thunderbird until this also looked like a problem. Is there a way to break this fixed linkage? Thank you

Looking at your guesses, it is 115.8.1 according to my inspection, W7 is correct.

Goodd day from UK I run firefox esr 115.9.1 and find the the F5 refresh key does NOT refresh the images. The same applies when using the "reload" icon in the menu.

Reading other posts, nothing seems to apply here.

There are NO add-ons at all and everything is cleared on close. The text DOES seem to change.

As a web developer checking updates this is extremely annoying as only hope is keep closing the browser (to clear everything) and restart - the loads new images etc.

I use several versions of Firefox (2, 20, 56) to ensure compatability with olf browsers and it seems to be only those over 100 with this issue.

Does anyone know if this is a "feature" or a"bug" and is there any simple (!) way around the issue?

Is there a way to enable sounds when the built in pop-up blocker blocks a pop-up or make the banner more noticeable? I often dont realize a pop-up has been blocked and cant figure out why I' not getting the new content

I have the latest FF browser. I'm not using any proxy service, just spectrum connection. when i try to access my credit union account, i get this message

I'm using the OneTab add-on, Enabled. The icon no longer shows on the Toolbar, though it is on the Menu bar next to Firefox View.

I ran Remove and then Added it again, hoping the Toolbar Icon would reappear = no go, And I lost all URLs already saved, stupid me. To be clear, clicking the Icon on the Toolbar saves all open tabs.

Is there a fix via Preferences? Thanks. gw
