Hello! I saw this question (below) on the forum. I'm having much the same problem. Firefox is crashing nearly all my tabs, even those that had been previously loaded. I cannot use it at all. Clicking "Restore this tab" does nothing. (Firefox has crashed tabs in the past but in those times, "Restore Tab" actually worked.) I actually had to write down on paper the subject and website of each of my tabs (and I had a lot of them, so this took a long time) because when I clicked on each already-loaded tab, Firefox would crash it and I'd lose it--and then it would crash the next one in line before I even got to it.
I have been using Firefox for years and it has never given me this much trouble. I've had tabs stored on it for a long time. "Restore session" always worked if I had to restart my computer for something. It does not work now because every tab crashes with the notice: "GAH! Your tab crashed. Click 'Restore tab' to restore your session." But "restore tab" simply crashes again.
Firefox has allowed a Masterpiece Theater tab and a link to my local newspaper, Pioneer Press (I have a subscription). Others crash. Even some Firefox pages have crashed!
After writing down the info for all my tabs, and then clicking on each one so it would crash and then deleting them so that Firefox had no tabs listed, I tried restarting my computer but this did not help. I also checked Malwarebytes, my anti-virus program, and didn't see a problem there (and I've had it for two years, always using Firefox with not much problem). I think I clicked on "update Firefox" recently and it seemed to work for a while after that, but now this.
I know a little about computers as a user but I'm not very savvy about repair or about all the different commands and controls. Trying to browse through all your articles to find how to fix the problem is exhausting, time consuming and leaves me really confused because I don't really know how to do the things each article suggests. I don't have the time to read article after article and still not be able to fix the problem.
Do I actually need to delete Firefox and then reinstall it? I'd lose all my tabs (website history is still showing under "History), stored passwords and stored credit card information and all other stored information. I'd have to start over completely.
I love Firefox and don't want to switch to Google or some other browser but I might have to if this continues.

No matter what I try to read or go to, Firefox crashes repeatedly. I literally cannot use it at all. I keep getting: Gah. Your tab just crashed. We can help! Choose Restore This Tab or Restore All Crashed Tabs to reload the page/pages.
Clicking those options fixes nothing! How do I go back to the previous version, please?"

Hi everyone,
we have a web application with different web pages generated by Vaadin. Since our client updated to Firefox version 128, Firefox reliably crashes on one specific web page. Previous firefox version was 102.
Crash message: Gah. your tab just crashed
This is what we have done so far but without success: - Checked on different customer terminals (all showing same issue) - Raised RAM - Changed to troubleshoot (safe) mode - Disabled hardware acceleration - Cleared windows font cache - Checked crash reports

Currently there is no option to update firefox to a newer version.

Firefox repeatedly crashes on my, multiple times a day. I'dc really like to NOT have to change my default browser to Chrome.
What happens is that Firefox freezes, and I get a white bar at the top telling me so. I get a popup box asking if I want to close Firefox or wait for it to respond. Waiting doesn't work, so I always have to close Firefox. When I reopen it, fortunately all m,y open tabs are retained, but it crashes again within minutes or seconds as soon as I click on anything.
There only thing that seems to work is a reboot of my PC. But the respite is short before Firefox crashes again.
I've disabled most plugins, but that hasn't helped. Is there a way to create an event log within Firefox that I can share with someone at Mozilla to help e debug the issue? It's got to be something local rather than Firefox itself; I can't imagine this is happening to most users.

Hi -- I'm getting quite a few page crashes that seem mostly tied to YouTube, although not exclusively. I only recently swapped over to Firefox from Chrome because I was having similar crashing issues with that browser as well. This is after a fresh install of Windows 11 Pro and a number of different benchmark tests (no known issues with CPU, GPU, or RAM).
Since there are so many reports that all seem different, could someone help troubleshoot? I really can't tell if it's a browser problem, maybe something with my MOBO or PSU or other hardware.

My firefox seemed to crash. Now I can't seem to get into anything.

Firefox keeps crashing. I tried refresh and am afraid to totally uninstall for fear of losing my tabs and data. Why is this crashing all of a sudden. Also will not play Youtube videos. I have cleared cache and history.

Without warning or input from me, Firefox shuts down and upon me reopening firefox, my Outlook Hotmail E-mail account doesn't recognize my set password? I have to keep resetting my password each time???
Anybody knows if this is a Microsoft issue, or is it Firefox?

tried few below steps Remove all Extensions, Reset Browser again if same issue remove the user profile and login with the new profile if same issue try un-installing and re-installing browser with the different account did a clean re installation by removing local files from the help of forced uninstaller reinstalled it but the issue still persist also tested by disabling antivirus although the computer worked with mcafee earlier please provide a solution to this computer is running on win 11 with the latest 25H2 update
any suggestions for settings or other changes?

I ran a Windows 11 Update and after I opened Firefox, it shows all the tabs that were there but each tab indicates that it's 'Crashed'. The 'Tab Crash Reporter' doesn't restore a single tab nor does it react to 'Restore all Tabs'. It looks like Firefox is NOT connecting to the web.
I'm entering this using the Edge browser.

Since the last update every tab crashes every time. Can't even open emails...crashes!
