I am getting consistent issues with Firefox where the tabs seemingly just crash with no rhyme or reason to them. Could be within a few seconds, could be after a few minutes. Doesn't seem to be one website causing it either as I was worried it was Twitch but I get issues browsing other places too. Any help would be appreciated!

Attempts to add extensions just sit there doing nothing until I close the tab. This sort of worked some time ago (I forget the version) but the inability of Firefox to allow add-ons/extensions is getting to be a joke. There are other browsers out there, ya know.

Hi there! I find the new sidebar (on the left for me) a great addition but is there a way to reverse the "top to bottom" tabs displaying order?
Not a way to move tabs, but a setting allowing, when opening a new tab (Ctrl+t), to place (and display) the icon on top of the tabs icons pile, not at the bottom.
I get that it's the opposite of the normal reading direction, but it's rather unnatural to go looking at the bottom of the screen for recently opened tabs, IMHO.
Thanks in advance if you can address this, or show me where I can find such setting.

Why can't I uncheck these boxes? I was actually just trying to disable it for a few, not all of my computers, but, now that it's being forced on me, I'm a bit unhappy with Firefox. I've supported, promoted, and used them for years but now they seem to be following the same path of other prying browsers. :(

Hi -- I'm getting quite a few page crashes that seem mostly tied to YouTube, although not exclusively. I only recently swapped over to Firefox from Chrome because I was having similar crashing issues with that browser as well. This is after a fresh install of Windows 11 Pro and a number of different benchmark tests (no known issues with CPU, GPU, or RAM).
Since there are so many reports that all seem different, could someone help troubleshoot? I really can't tell if it's a browser problem, maybe something with my MOBO or PSU or other hardware.

Problem: Cannot clear history from Firefix Started with Menu and clear recent history. Looked everyplace there was information about history. Tried removing individual entries. Ran Malwarebytes. Dell XPS 8960 with Windows 11 less than one year old. No response with any steps I take. Also, there are no error messages. I am unable to clear history no matter which tools I use. No error messages. All the suggestions I tried had no effect. Used Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox.
Oddly, I tried my older Dell Inspiron 3650, with Windows 10, and clear history works like it should.

No improvement. Using the same address, I can open it in MS Edge and Norton Private Browser, which has all of the Firefox bookmarks. On nearly a daily basis, at some point my Yahoo mail tab indicates a lost internet connection when I have no internet connection issues with any other site... including Yahoo. At first I could simply close the yahoo mail tab and reload it, but now I have to log completely out of my computer to restart it. If I simply try to open mail again, the tab simply continually searches for the site (at this point it has been trying to open the site for about 15 min). In searching for a fix, I found numerous other people have had the same issue (seems to go back as far as 2023, but in only started for me since upgrading to a new laptop). It seems to be only a Mozilla Firefox issue - but since Mozilla is my preferred browser I'd like to see if there is a fix before moving to another browser. Thanks for any guidance anyone can provide.
