I am a game developer. I work about 12 hours a day, in Chrome. It is my main browser. When I installed firefox, I was asked to "import" cookies and such. I did. Which has been a terrible headache. All of the bookmarks and everything from Chrome came with it, which I already had in firefox, since I've had it for years. But, I thought since this is a brand new computer that I needed to do that. Fast-forward a couple of weeks and now EVERY time I open up firefox, all 10 million history links are in history.

I use firefox to unwind and watch movies. I don't want 10 million links to work in front of where I left off in binge watching Seinfeld.

I've tried everything and followed instructions and STILL, all history from Chrome shows up in firefox. It is infuriating. AND uninstalling and reinstalling did nothing. The setting is already in the account to import from Chrome to firefox. I've removed addons and extensions as well. Nothing has worked.

Is there a way to return to a previous sync? I rebooted up an old computer that was my original firefox account. once I relaunched firefox i re-synced all my firefox devices to that old computer. So all the bookmarks and such were messed up.

I just moved to Colorado. Every time I search for a "store near me" it give me locations for someplace in the San Francisco Bay area. I am over 1,000 miles from there. How do I get my Firefox browser to realize that I am living in Thornton, Colorado?

Since the last 109.0 update I've noticed a strange behavior with Firefox.

Sometimes after watching a video stream in full screen, my toolbar changes and moves all my customized icons / extensions etc. into this "more tools" drop down menu. I can reproduce this by repeatedly switching from full screen to the normal view

This is so annoying and frustrating.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Firefox opens minimized and when I click the maximize it moves the window the first time and then the second time is when i get the full screen. If I open in troubleshooter mode, it opens in full screen.

If this is actually a thing, I would like to know how to make it happen. If it is not a thing, this a suggestion that would be amazing to implement into the web-browser!

On my phone, when you scroll, it automatically hides the address bar and everything on it, to go 'full-screen'. I want this on my laptop. How can I make it, that when I scroll, or even just sit on a webpage for a moment, the URL bar will smoothly transition into being 'hidden'?

I want to be clear: I do NOT want to use the fullscreen, CTRL + F11 function, because then my Windows task bar is not accessible. Right now I have my taskbar hidden, which is fantastic because it gives my laptop screen a bigger feel. And if FireFox's URL could do the same... that would be beautiful.

When using Google Chrome, I can click on a telephone link and it brings up a dialog box asking if I want to make a call using my mobile phone.

Is this possibly with Firefox?

Hi Firefox community, I don't want to store any account login data (also not usernames) on the shared PC that I'm using. In settings > passwords there is no entry, and under access data and passwords any options are deactivated. Although passwords are not stored, Firefox shows the user names/account names whenever I click such field. Where can I deactivate that user names/account names are stored and shown? I use 4 rows of shortcuts pinned to the Firefox homepage. I modify each shortcut to best describe the url. Whenever I install Firefox on a different computer and sync the homepage, the shortcuts go back to the default descriptions and mix up the order in the 4 rows. How do I get the shortcuts to stay in the same order and with the same titles after I login for the first time and sync? When they are "unpinned" they go back to the default title and re-pinning them keeps them with the default title. I'd like to be able to re-title them, pin them and then have them show up that way on a new Firefox install when they are synced. Is it possible? Is my description too complicated to understand? I have looked for answers in help but unable to find anything

How does one migrate Firefox bookmarks and passwords from an old computer to a new computer?

There are four computers involved in this shuffle. Two new, one being retired, and one being repurposed. The only thing we haven't been able to figure out, is how to migrate Firefox's information from one computer to another one.

And, we've been working on this since Christmas. Edge, Brave, and Chrome took minutes. Combined.

But, transferring the information on Firefox has been impossible. Yes, I've read the help topics. No, they were not helpful. Firefox will not accept either the backup or export files from the old Firefox across multiple computers.

Yes, I have Sync. And, no, that hasn't worked either.

So, what is the next step?

every time I first try and full screen a video it will not correctly fill the screen. if i go back to windowed and full screen again it will be fixed, and will remain fixed for as long as firefox is still open. if I close firefox and open again it does the same thing. See screenshot for problem.

How can I set Firefox 109.0 to use the same URL as the Default home page? (www.Google.com) I don't want Firefox's home page or a blank screen, and those are the only choices now.

Put very simply, Firefox Breaks Fedex site. I cannot login to fedex with firefox, but I can with Edge. I would much rather use Firefox. Is McAfee causing this problem?

Hello, the menu bar has an error. Before the update, I could move all addons to the overhang menu (Überhangmenü). With the new update, an additional symbol is forcibly inserted, which I cannot remove. I would like to move the AddOns back to the overhang menu.

The AddON icons are now way too big and in general I want to remove the AddON icon. Can someone help?

The screen on my old computer (Lenovo) is dead, I have a new computer (Lenovo) and want transfer all my logins and password onto my new computer. how do I do that if I don't even have my old computer Fire Fox login or password.

I format my laptop. Now when I installed firefox I can't find the colorways theme. Is there a way to get it back? I use different profiles and I like the different colors colorways offer. Please can I still get the themes back?
