Please I want to remove Ai from Firefox Mozila permanently on Windows 11 for all users/profiles:

I tried a lot of workarounds but they are unsuccessfully: I tried to create extensions (Hide Gemini, AI Google Overview), but they do not work for all users; only profile-based extensions are supported. I tried to use preferences using internal settings on Firefox, but it does not apply to all users. I tried using a script on PowerShell for all users merging internal preferences, but it does not work I copied the local and roaming settings from Firefox to the Default profile, but it was unsuccessful.

I also tried to remove "All" from the search page, but I moved the seach to go to the tab "Web" only.

Hi, There is this Duck.ai, an AI chatbot frontend, says its more private than using the models directly. It has various LLMs from OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, and Meta. DuckDuckGo reduces the information sent to them and requests them not to add your information in their training data.

After the latest Firefox update, Subtitles and closed captions not saving settings in latest Firefox in spite of resets, reboots, clearing cache. Appears to be on Windows 11 but is fine in Windows 10.

Updated recently from (I believe) 138.04 to 139.0.1, and immediately noticed that the size of font (and icons) had changed in the folders I have in the bookmark toolbar, that is they are much smaller and thus also less space between. Why this, and is it possible to change the size, without changing something else?

It's possible that many don't have folders in the toolbar and thus don't notice, but I have 2-3 apart from bookmarks.

I remember a change many versions ago that increased the space between entries in the bookmark menu, and also in the bookmark toolbar folders. That was too much and I found a setting [in config] that could be changed to decrease the space back then. (I haven't looked for that solution now, probably have some doc somewhere, and won't bother searching since this is different. Same with this case; I did some quick initial search but found next to nothing and older. BTW, this is one of the downsides of changes like these and similar; the day you have too move to another OS version, i.e. reinstall everything you also have to keep documentation of all these little changes, apart from all the other things you'll have to export or save.)

I have attached an image of the setting panel that used to have options for the home screen of Firefox. There are no wallpapers to choose from and the Home screen is barren.

I don't want to change the way my browser is now working, especially by some unknown AI system. Tell me how to stop or delete the new unwanted option.

I left Win Edge last year because they do the same " I(MPROVEMENTS" that I did not want. Shame on Mozilla for doing the same thing!

I want to pin a Firefox website to my taskbar in Windows 11. I can create a shortcut for the website on my desktop but when I try moving it onto my taskbar, it doesn't get added (get the dreaded circle with the line through it) and right-clicking on it does not give me an option to "add to taskbar" like other browsers do.

I thought I had too many pins on my taskbar so I deleted one and then tried to add the shortcut, but get same error.

I tried adding a random app to my taskbar by right clicking on the app and using the "pin to task bar" option and it works perfectly.

So, what is the secret to adding a Firefox website url to my taskbar????

Since the Firefox update, the Firefox window automatically expands to fill the entire desktop of my computer. I don't like that. I've reduced the size of the window multiple times, but it keeps expanding again. How can I fix this?

SO, how to COMPLETELY remove the AI function in Firefox and Linux Ubuntu..

AI scare me and I definitely don't want ANY of it!!!
