Hello I no longer see any of my browser search history. It is completely blank. I can only see "recently opened tabs." How do I get my "history" back? Thank you very much.

I need to be able to delete the history on Firefox. I have reinstalled, tried all settings, etc. The delete key does not work anymore. I will be discarding this PC. I have a new WIndows 11 machine. Thank you.

Despite following the instructions ,I am unable to clear my browsing history. Every time I click on to "clear history," nothing happens. I am afraid to re-install the browser because my wife also has an account on the same PC and I do not want to delete here bookmarks etc.

Since last update (early mid Dec) browser history is not been deleted properly on clicking delete history. Recently opened tabs remain in history even after 3 to 5 requests to delete. The problem is the same on opening private purple tabs. Transfers history to normal tab history. Phone Samsung S21 Regards Rich

I need to permanently save my browsing history, but I haven't found such a function in Firefox. Firefox regularly deletes my browsing history, which I really dislike. I need it to accurately and precisely save my browsing history without any omissions. I need a solution to this problem.

Ive had Firefox for many years, and am pretty ok versed in it's options and tools. Since a couple weeks my history is completely gone. It also won't record anything new. Im not in safe mode, not incognito mode, all the settings appear correct, yet still, won't record anything. Please help

I have followed the instructions on the Mozilla website but am unable to delete my browsing history. I recently had a power outage and had to have my pc data reinstalled by a computer specialist. would reinstalling Firefox sort my problem?

After a re-start, my Firefox browser on a Dell laptop lost all history and has since also not been collecting websites visited. When opening a new tab, the shortcuts and recently visited websites are also gone and no longer being collected. My CCleaner recently updated itself to a new version but I unchecked the delete history for Firefox (which treacherously is clicked by default - I fell into that trap before). Happy to blame the new CCleaner but that would not explain why history is not being collected now - to me the fault seems to lie with Firefox instead. Another possibility that went through my mind: Is Microsoft sabotaging users of Windows 11 to force them to buy new? PS: Under "Privacy", "History", the setting is "Firefox will remember history", as it always has been and should be. But it has forgotten all previous history and it is no longer collecting any new history either!

'Browsing history: which one do I use and how can I browse TOTALLY private? I want the instructions of hot to do that if you have a way to do that.. thanks for your time

Problem: Cannot clear history from Firefix Started with Menu and clear recent history. Looked everyplace there was information about history. Tried removing individual entries. Ran Malwarebytes. Dell XPS 8960 with Windows 11 less than one year old. No response with any steps I take. Also, there are no error messages. I am unable to clear history no matter which tools I use. No error messages. All the suggestions I tried had no effect. Used Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox.

Oddly, I tried my older Dell Inspiron 3650, with Windows 10, and clear history works like it should. 

Used Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox. So far, all the advice goes down the same path; history, clean recent history, manage history, etc.. Tried refreshing and today I deleted Firefox app and reloaded. No improvement. On windows 10, I had my history setup perfectly. I had it where it saved all of my stuff all the time and I could go back and check anything on any day. Then I changed to windows 11 and now my history is a mess and I can't figuar out how to fix the problem. I am not good with computer, so make your answer SIMPLE AS POSSIABLE, please!!! Thank you.

For years I have clicked on the clear history, clear data and manage data on the settings page in privacy and security--directly after leaving every website, just to be sure...now nothing is happening when I click on them. FF is up to date and nothing is different (that I know of).

Please help. Thank you.
