Today Firefox stopped altogether and dimmed the entire window and popped up a "Try the Firefox VPN" message. I use Firefox specifically to get away from disruptive, intrusive violations like that. This needs to be removed immediately and never ever happen again. It's completely antithetical to the core values of Firefox.

Furthermore, several users have reported it breaking their browsing. See this Reddit thread:

This affected me on Windows 10 running Firefox 113.0.2 64 bit.

When I scroll down to look at recent posts on Facebook groups I follow all but the top one has suddenly lost its date/time – I just get a blank where the details would usually be and have to hover over to reveal the details. The silly thing is that this only happens when I sign in and it doesn’t happen when I use chrome – although I prefer using Firefox, not least because the bookmarks sidebar is better. I have tried getting rid of all extensions and running in troubleshoot mode but without success. Any help/advice would be appreciated (as long as it is not about football!)

How do I add the icon for an add-on which is not shown when I click on "customize toolbar"? When I click customize toolbar the result does not show any of the icons for add-ons/extensions.

I visit the website Hamilton house painters frequently throughout the day. Although I can delete my web history for a specific time period, I'm wondering if there is an option to delete my entire web history for that website altogether.

I learned that Firefox has pdf editor in the new version but I can't locate buttons to edit/fill a pdf document. I tried to search that on the web but could not find those. Would you please send me the tips on how to use this feature? Thank you.

I've been using the "L" key to jump ahead on YouTube, but as of this week pressing the key keeps opening the Firefox Search Bar instead. It's driving me nuts and I'm about ready to give up on FF.

I can find no way to change the shortcuts or stop it from taking over when I use shortcuts on various sites. Any suggestions?

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble opening the website https://learnaboutcat.com/. Every time I try to load a full page, an article, or a category, it simply doesn't work. I'm not sure what caused this issue, but I'm eager to find a solution as soon as possible. Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated. It would be really helpful if you could try opening a website, click on any category or article, and let me know if you encounter the same problem. Over the last few weeks, I would say four times in last month, all my pinned and tabbed websites disappear. Currently the space where they normally go is blank. Please advise.

The first post on the Facebook page will always display the timestamp, none of the remaining posts display the timestamp. The space for the timestamp is there and hovering the mouse over it will show the date and time (so the information is on the page, just not displaying). It is the same on different Facebook pages and using different Facebook accounts. I have checked my settings. I have cleared my caches, history, etc. I have restarted my computer many times. I have operated Firefox in troubleshooting mode, with extensions and add-ons disabled. I have done an anti-virus sweep with Kaspersky. This issue does not occur when I open Facebook in Microsoft Edge browser. I think this may have started approximately May 18 2023.

Since yesterday on Facebook I can't see the time a post was written like I always had and like it happensa for example on Chrome, does this is happening to others?

Whenever I try to download a file from google drive, I get: "The page isn’t redirecting properly An error occurred during a connection to drive.google.com. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

Downloading google docs files from drive works fine, they convert to word and save to my downloads like normal. But downloading image files or pdfs yields this error. Right-clicking and downloading them from the folder view just does nothing. There is no difference between shared files and my own drive files. This error only happens in firefox, I can download files on microsoft edge just fine.

This has been happening for a few weeks now. Things I've tried:

-clearing cookies and cache -restarting firefox, restarting computer -checking for updates and updating firefox -disabling all my add-ons -clearing startup cache -adding drive.google.com and google.com to the exceptions for enhanced tracking protection -switching from standard to custom and unchecking cookies from the list of trackers and scripts to block, then clearing all cookies and cache -attempting to download in firefox troubleshoot mode -attempting to download in incognito mode -refreshing firefox -re-installing firefox by following the steps here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1233618 -turned off real-time protection on computer antivirus (default for windows 10) -turned off microsoft defender firewall

I don't even know what else I can try. I assume it's a firefox error because this only happens using firefox on my laptop - I use firefox mobile and can download the same files on my phone. Does anyone have any advice?

I cannot login to my Tiktok account on my home computer. My account is in good standing, I checked with TikTok. I can log in on my phone through the app, but cannot through my desktop.

I used to have my Bookmarks toolbar visible. It worked fine until the latest update today. Now it's gone. I've set it to show Bookmarks toolbar. Tried turning it on and off. Doesn't work. Here's a snapshot of it. Just below that last line is a list of my bookmarks on the toolbar. The bookmarks are still there. It's the toolbar that has disappeared.
