After the latest auto update all of my history, tabs/windows, and bookmarks were deleted and I can't recover them. I have tried importing bookmarks and it does not allow me to upload an old data file and I can't restore my previous session. I tried checking both profiles but neither had my information saved and now when I open the about:profiles says "Another copy of Firefox has made changes to profiles. You must restart Firefox before making more changes."

I'm scared to try anything else because I don't want to mess anything up further but I really need my tabs and history back.

I restarted my computer and then reopened firefox and it had updated and I noticed my bookmarks were gone but my windows/tabs were open, so I tried to choose a file on the bookmark backup and nothing was happening so I restarted and after that all my history and tabs were gone and I couldn't restore them.

Every time I accidentally close Firefox I lose all my saved groups on reopening. I can see they are still there but cannot see how to open them. They are such a great innovation. Please make it easier to restore them from previous sessions. Going through a search history and restoring them one by one is hugely time consuming when they are already there and just inaccessible. btw, I tried using scrounger (via troubleshooting) but the "Save List" is greyed out.

Running on Mac OS 15.6.1

when I try to log into my gmail account, it is asking me to verify by log in first to an inactive account that was linked to my gmail account. with Chrome I have no problem log in to my gmail account

Also McAffee notification with all these popups stating that my McAffee protection expired yesterday - I have never had a McAffee notification for a virus or pair for protection from them. Popups are happening every 10 seconds continuously! looks like about 20 or more popups describing different problems with 20 digit numbers and letters as a serial number of the problem!

History drop down-Restore Previous Session MENU OPTION AND Recently Closed Windows MENU OPTION tab choice ARE DARK!!! Not active!!! Why? (If they are there to be seen they should always be active for use)

I use these ALL THE TIME!! Where is that function??? Why is MY history from yesterday NOT there for me?? I need it right now!

My life is busy and stressful enough without Firefox or Apple or Microsoft adding to it!!!

btw am waiting full 5+ min for a simple screenshot to "upload" to Firefox help below so I can hit send on this?? Still see the word "uploading" - are you finished yet Firefox?

I just updated my browser less than a week ago. Today I got another notification for yet another update. This logs me out of everything.

WHY so many and so frequent are firefox browser updates. I am about to stop using this brower if it continues. It's very disruptive!

Just updated my Firefox. I had a huge tab group saved, and tons of bookmarks. I've been using firefox for months, I didn't have an account signed in on the browser though. I updated it and it had to restart, and everything was gone when it reopened. I even clicked that it should reopen tabs after restarting, but it just opened to tell me to make a profile. It told me that they just introduced profiles, and it put me on profile 1, which looked brand new. No browsing history whatsoever, no bookmarks, my background that I set is gone, and I cannot find anythign at all. I had over 50 bookmarks, inclyding very imprtant links for a final paper, and I'm genuinely so upset. Multiple of those bookmarks were things for me to go back to read/watch later and I will literally not be able to find them. If anyone has any tips at all, I'd love them. I am so seriously upset right now and I'm just hoping its possible for that to come back.

Hi, I set a primary password so that this is required when I first sign in to Firefox but although the request for the password shows up, I realise I only need to press 'cancel' and firefox is opened.
