Ever since the last update, I can no longer watch recordings on xfinity stream with Firefox. What happened? Can I fix it? I sometimes have to start watching programs late, but they wont play while recording. I can watch those same recordings when they are finished, but not while they are still recording. I can watch those same recordings while recording on Chrome and Safari so it's not an xfinity problem. But for some reason not on Firefox anymore Is there a setting I need to change? Thanks Ron

i have tried multiple extent ions to disable ai in the search box on Firefox an nothing works i still get ai. Again why does everyone think ai is so great. why again are people not given a choice like do you want or not want ai. HATE AI IN SAMSUNG GEMINI AND GOOGLE do not want ai anywhere ion my computer or i phone and please let me know if there is an addon or extensions in Firefox to not see it in my searches in google searches

The option to Pin an extension to the toolbar in the browser is no longer available anywhere in firefox.

I can unpin them at will. But the only way to pin to the toolbar again is to remove the extension and select "pin to toolbar" when it's readded to firefox.. Trouble is that my other computers see I removed it sometimes and remove it there but when they readd the extension to firefox they are not pinned on that computer. and there is no way to get it pinned.

this happens with all extensions and once they are unpinned I'm only able to remove the extension from firefox and readd it to get a stupid option to repin it.

please fix this.

I synced the wrong Firefox profile to mY Mozilla account. I hence deleted the account to get a reset. But now I can't sync any more, because I get the message: your profile was previously synced to a different account, create a new profile. How can I activate sync again?

I have the latest Mozilla browser. I have Yahoo Mail and each time I open an email from Kohls.com, the images appear for a split second and then disappear and are replaced by a white box with a little symbol in the upper left corner. This only happens to about half of the images in the email. If I open the email in a separate tab, the email appears normal. This only occurs in Firefox, not in Edge nor Chrome. I have used aI to check all of my security settings and nothing is wrong with them, it is just something of how Firefox renders the Kohls.com emails. They are the only emails that act this way. Please help!

So each time this pos browser updates I have to comb through ALL of the setting to see what their stupid brains though was a good idea to change for me? What kind of dirty underhanded BS is this? Mozilla is going to CHANGE my settings, NOT only to AUTO FREAKING OPEN like no one will notice this, now I have to spend time seeing if someone hacked my system. Well turns out, it was permission given I am sure through BS EULA. How is this not against the law?

My Firefox VPN is still showing as nearing my limit, despite it now being October everywhere in the world. Why hasn't it reset to 50GB? I've tried restarting Firefox and it didn't make any difference. It still shows "Getting close to your VPN limit. You have 2.2GB of 50GB left this month."

Hi! I´m using Jdownloader2. After an update of Firefox the captcha-extension of JDownloader didn´t work anymore. I reinstalled Firefox, but adding the extension is still prevented. Following quote appears: "Firefox hat die Website daran gehindert, Sie zu fragen, ob Software installiert werden soll" It should be in yellow (but it isn´t), like following site describes: https://support.mozilla.org/de/kb/Add-ons-koennen-nicht-installiert-werden#w_firefox-hat-die-website-daran-gehindert-sie-zu-fragen-ob-software-installiert-werden-soll Furthermore there should be a button to authorize the installation. Instead there is only the button "OK". I followed the help-site mentioned above to the letter, to no avail. By the way, I´m using Nightly now, but JDownloader2 automatically wants access to Firefox. Would you please tell me, how to add the mentioned extension. Without it I couldn´t download most files! Please answer to following email: [redacted email from community support forum]

I assigned Ctrl + Left arrow & Ctrl + Right arrow for back and front options. Most of the times, the back shortcut (Ctrl+left arrow) works but the moment I try front (Ctrl+right arrow) it doesn't work and also, after that if i hit back (Ctrl+left arrow) it won't work.

Am i missing on something or what? Please let me know if you have any fix to this.

The "New" PDF previewer sucks, can we revert to the old one that actually worked ?! It's a "Preview" , maybe don't try to open everything and BE a PDF program inside the browser, the whole point is to get a "Quick" look so you can decide to open , or, delete it ! This is as Bad as MS Edge trying to take over for PDF's , Revert this change, or Give us a way to choose to use the old way ! Thank you.

Hello there, I'm trying to add the surfshark extension to Firefox but I keep getting a pop-up asking if I want to go ahead and add the extension to Chrome. When I click cancel it just closes the pop-up, clicking 'Install now' just brings it up again. I've just istalled Surshark.

Any ideas ?

I use Firefox to read a lot of PDFs. Some of the documents have their own internal sections embedded into them. Because of this, Firefox PDF organizes the page numbers in a strange way. Instead of just page 1 through page 112, each section will have its own numbers starting over from 1. Thus, when I try to skip to page 3, it doesn't actually bring me to page 3 of the entire document, it brings me to page 3 of whatever section I'm in.

A large part of my job is digging through documents, and I don't have time to try and figure out which section of the document I'm in. I need page 3 to be the actual page 3. And I refuse to go back to Edge or Adobe.

I know there's a way to fix this in about:config because I've done it before on a previous computer, but I recently got a new computer and all my settings are gone. How to I turn on just regular page numbers in about:config?

Since the latest update, 157.0 (64-bit), google maps, google sheets and Bigquery all now exibit black screens where tables, spreadsheets and the map should be displayed. I did check if it was some interaction with the darktheme as well as extensions, but it is not.

I have gone through the same problem already, but it was corrected with an update and now it is happening again.

Firefox updates seem to be getting heavier and worse over time.

I am currently having a challenge browsing my offline videos downloaded on YouTube, and I noticed this since I recently updated my Mozilla browser. Formerly, even when my internet is down, I could open YouTube, and it would take me to my offline downloaded video, but now, when I am offline, it just shows Check your internet connection.

Whenever I watch videos using Firefox going to Youtube sometimes bugs out like the loading takes forever. Like the video is playing and yet the surrounding of it is just pitched black, and once it load properly the video will stop and the whole site will finally be done loading and goes back playing the video.

I've tried other browser it doesnt seem to be affecting only Firefox can someone looked into this. Cause it definitely not my internet.

Hi, Both my wife and I have been using both Firefox for many, many years and only realised today that I did not have an account. I have two problems, both starting at the same time, (1) every time I use my computer (now both a desktop & a ASUS 17 laptop) my current tabs I don't have my original tabs which I rely on having when I have a project running, and (2) when I start my computer I have to go through the 'ticket the squares with bicycles in" to verify I'm human. If I close Firefox and very shortly open it again I don't get the check. For the first problem I've checked the Settings and they are as I have always had then to restart tabs that were present on shutdown. For the security check I've googled an explanation/fix but most times I get a suggestion to look at some setting which I can't find anywhere. Hopefully you can answer my problems. I synced with my iPhone 15, not too sure that I had any success as the prompts didn't line up with the displayed requests. My version of Firefox is 157.0 (64-bit) running on Windows 11 Version 25H2 (OS build 26.200.9457. I have updated to latest version Thank you, KenDiment

what have you done with the? "new" firefox since the last update and change, it crashes, it won't open websites and now it said prove you're not a robot and other miscellaneous things are going on? Can I go back one update? I dislike what you have done. Firefox has always been my first choice and not Chrome, I'm going to have to find another search engine.

This is more two minor requests than a question.

1. 1 When you have 2-3 Widgets, it should centre them for better visualisation.
2. 2 It would be nice to add multiple widgets for separate lists
3. 3 Would also be good to sync lists

I wasn't sure if there is a better place to post these suggestions. Happy to repost if someone lets me know the right place.
