I am trying to complete an online video interview, but Firefox is not allowing the website to use my camera and microphone. I have checked the website permissions, but the camera and microphone are still not working. Please help me enable camera and microphone access in Firefox.

Hello, I accidentally disabled clipboard permissions on the site Magma.com and I am unable to find a way to enable it again in any of the settings. The site itself prompts me to find the clipboard icon, however, there isn't one.

I thought the webcam was not working but in another browser like Google Chrome Internet Explorer, the webcam works in all other browsers.

Looking for a way to configure the "Share the screen" permission present in permissions for individual sites via GPO. I am aware of this doc but I can't find anything for setting this permission. Specifically, to block it for all sites with an explicit allow list.

The "Preferences" option won't suffice as permissions are stored in permissions.sqllite and are not part of the about:config preferences. The "Permissions" grouping lacks... the majority of the possible site permissions as well.

I recently was unable to have my audio and video function while in an invited Google Meet meeting. I use a Mac OS, Sequoia 15.3.2 (24D81), Firefox 137.0.1 (64-bit), and latest Google Meet.

I use Firefox's "Strict" privacy settings and could use some instructions on how to allow Google Meets to function properly on Firefox. For example, I have turned on the browser window toggles to allow the site special permissions - but still cannot get the Meet Audio and Video settings at the bottom to toggle on (see screenshots), the message is a grayed-out "permission needed". I cannot figure out where the permission needed is located...Is this a Firefox, Google Meet or somehow my Mac. Sending this to Google as well.

Suite à une ré initialisation de W11 pour cause de bug de mon pc j'ai activer,sans savoir les conséquences qu'il en ressortir de cette validation, la géolocalisation sur mon navigateur firefox de mon pc en renseignant ma ville , action que je n'ai jamais faite auparavant Je me suis connecté sur mon compte FB et j'ai eu une fenêtre qui s'est affichée me disant que j'ai été géolocaliser sur un site avec un lien sur les animaux Trouvant cela bizarre j'ai cliqué ,non pas sur les 3 petits points verticaux mais sur la croix sensée être une annulation Suite à cette action plein de fenêtre se sont ouvert comme pour un piratage et avec message vocal comme quoi j'étais géolocalise sur site peu recommandable (Pédophile) j'ai éteint ,dans la seconde mon pc et je l'ai rallumé quelques instant après en me reconnectant sur mon compte FB avec tjrs cette fenêtre De là j'ai re éteint mon pc et suis aller porte une main courante hier le 6/07/26 à la gendarmerie la plus proche En rentrant de la gendarmerie et vérification FB plus de fenêtre indélicate , j'ai re initialiser mon pc avec changement de MP FB Je n'avais jamais eu de problème de ce genre sur FB et c'est aujourd'hui le 7/07/26 que j'ai constaté que FIREFOX me proposez de faire la géolocalisation de mon pc .Chose que je n'ai pas faite voilà les faits Question est-il dangereux de valider un choix proposé par FIRFOX Merci de votre aide Cdt Hubert Saule titulaire d'un compte MOZILLA Utilisateur de FIREFOX depuis plusieurs années

I blocked it for a quick second. I had no idea it would be a multi hour nightmare to get it back on, and it still isn't. Why? Well because the "help link" page no longer exits, ratherthe page that the image that it shows no longer exists. You don't have the option to turn it back on, and why in the hell would I have to go to firefox settings to turn it back on to begin with.

I literally just now figured it out. Holy fuck. For me anyway.

Go into discord settings and click on the voice & video and hit "let's check". Click yes when it asks to allow permission.

I'm just so damn glad someone got butthurt earlier and erased my post. You're fucking trash for doing that.

Hopefully this is actually helpful to folks having problems. I'm not a butthurt little bitch like the folks that look over this site. I actually help.

After downloading the latest OS on my IMac, I can no longer use the microphone on Chat GPT to dictate anything. I keep getting red "enable microphone" messages. In my Firefox settings, the microphone is already "allowed" for Chat GPT. I would like to be able to dictate, rather than type, like I was able to before. Thank you.
