Firefox (current version:137.0.2 64-bit) does not allow drag from outlook on the web and drop on windows 11 file explorer. It shows a forbidden sign when i am dropping on file explorer.

How this problem can be solved?

Japanese characters usually do not render.

I can reproduce this issue by:

• going to the Wikipedia page for the katakana Unicode block.
• going to any YouTube comment with Japanese text.
• hovering over the screenshot of the YouTube comment so that the tooltip containing the name of the file is shown.

On YouTube the text renders only if 1.27916663885116563rem <= font-size <= 1.92083328962326036rem. Increasing `gfx.font_rendering.fontconfig.max_generic_substitutions` from 3 to 99 allows some punctuation to render and makes the text take up horizontal space. Further increase of the value to 999 causes the interpunct to render in the Wikipedia page.

My Firefox Browser keeps crashing at random times. I was using Chrome previously and it was worse than the Firefox performance. I just installed 128 GB of brand new DDR5 RAM which I tested in windows with no error. I have no malware on my computer currently. I ran all of the usual checks that you suggested with regard to extensions and cache. Here is the most recent report ID that was generated by Firefox:

When trying to do a search for a video in YouTube Studio, the search seems to freeze. Doing a similar search in Microsoft Edge works OK. This problem started happening several months ago. I've tried clearing the cache for YouTube pages.

I've been trying to set up 2fA on my firefox account, the whole process seems to work, I downloaded the backup codes and entered one to confirm and then got confirmation that 2FA was enabled (see screenshot). However, after reloading the page 2fA is shown as being disabled and indeed if I try to log out then in again I'm not asked for a code. I've tried this a couple of times now and it does the same every time. The auth app I'm using is Aegis.

Does anyone knows why this is happening ? Thanks.

[Edit: I just saw that after each time I tried to set it up, in "recent account activity" I add an error saying "Two-step authentication failed" which doesn't really makes sense...]

I am running firefox in 5 windows with at least 7 tabs each every time i exit, reopen of update it i have more that 35 Bookmark LEFT Side Bars to close IF i have the patience to close all of them WHICH NEVER HAPPENS... (this is happening since too long, I am pissed off...)

I searched, tried a couple of "solutions" to no avail

Seems I've noticed an issue with playing of YouTube videos the last few days. It seems that either the video(s) is slower to load and/or is slower to play. While it's not terribly slower in human time it's slower than normal in computer time. I'm not having this problem in Chrome. Cookies and cache are cleaned multiple times a day. So, I'm a little stumped as to why I'm having this issue. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello After last firefox update this page mail.proton.me (specifically: https://mail.proton.me/u/0/inbox) does not load for me.

It works in chrome and edge but not firefox. I cleared my cookies and cache but it did not help. All I get is blank white page and sometimes error message. I attach screen from my F12 menu when I try to load page. In brave for example there is much more activity than in FF.

I am receiving pop-ups from what appears to be Mozilla Firefox saying: System is infected! Viruses detected, Turn on protection and delete viruses. The virus identified is ZEUS.2020 Trojan. Click here to scan and clean via: d3av3500fes73a78mk0.mosgdefender.com This link doesn't work. So, how can I get this issue resolved? Any help would be appreciated. Since the last update, I believe, because this error occurs constantly and with EVERY video. This is often, not always, the case immediately after updating FF. Now it was fine for a while, but now it's so bad that I'm having trouble watching YT videos properly. Reason: Browser open, logged in to YT. I click on a video to play - video opens, plays maybe 10 to 20 seconds, then playback stops spinning top, I also found out during the last glitch after update that if I switch the resolution briefly, higher or lower doesn't matter - important is to leave the current resolution and switch to another one. And oh wonder - immediately, instantly with the change, the video starts playing. If I wait for this - without doing anything myself, it sometimes takes 30 - 40 seconds for the video to start ... sometimes it just "hangs" ... This is extremely annoying - if it doesn't work, I have to switch browsers... What is also extremely annoying is that it occurs almost regularly after an update ... until the next one possibly, for unknown reasons, does not fix the error, but sometimes mitigates it. Now, however, the disruption/interruption is so massive and totally annoying that I'm thinking of switching. I'm just tired of it ...

I'm attempting to set up Firefox in a newly installed OS and have logged into my Sync account. Many aspects seem to be loaded in, but the status via the Settings is stuck at "Syncing..." despite waiting several hours. Quitting Firefox results in a crash window popping up.

There are no files in the weave/logs directory. The weave/failed directory has multiple json files; most almost completely empty. addons.json has an ID, but that's pretty much it.

Deleting the .mozilla directory and starting over yielded no change in behavior.

when attempting to move Firefox bookmarks to my new computer, I click import data within the Firefox page. The computer asks me to select the file. I have no idea where the bookmarks reside and cannot find a file. What is the procedure to get this done?

I cannot figure out how to add my favorite things to the toolbar. The toolbar doesn't even show up at the top of my page. I just get a string of random bookmark names under the address bar with the Other bookmarks folder at the end. I can't even get rid of "Finish Setup" which is the last one shown. How do I do find where the toolbar is hidden and get it to show? Once I do find it, how can I add my favorite items to the toolbar? I even had ask a question online to find out how to restore my most recent bookmark which was backed up in the documents folder on my computer. Any suggestions would be very helpful. I don't like the way Mozilla Firefox looks now. It isn't as easy to use. I have included what the top of page looks like now. I am sorry I didn't think to keep one of how it used to be.
