I have to buy a new iMac, which now comes with Sonoma. Is there a version of Firefox that works without major issues on an iMac with Sonoma or is it better to wait? Thanks.

Is it possible to change Firefox's default keybinds? I don't see an option for this in Settings, nor in about:preferences or about:config. Some discussions on these forums suggest autoconfig.conf but that doesn't seem to have any options for keybinds. I found several KB articles on customizing Firefox, but none said anything about default keybinds:

For example, I'd like to change the keybind to open a private window from the default [Shift]+[Cmd]+P to [Shift]+[Cmd]+N. The latter is standard on most other browsers and is in my muscle memory. Is there any way to do that?

For years had bookmarks in folders showing on Bookmark Toolbar. Today they are all gone. Still in my Bookmarks on the drop down Menu, but not appearing on the Toolbar. Please help. Can't seem to drop and drag them there. Also, the Bookmarks Toolbar keeps disappearing every time I go to look at a new tab.

Today a website told me I needed to enable JavaScript in order to continue, despite the fact that it is enabled. At first, when I received this message, I turned off the "NoScript" extension and tried again, but the website still gave me that same message. So then I went to the about:config page. and it showed that JavaScript is enabled because it showed a value of "true". This sort of thing has happened more than once in the past. I'm forced to go to another browser such Microsoft Edge or Chrome, where I do not encounter this problem. Why is this happening in Firefox, and what can I do about it? Firefox crashes whenever I use ctrl v or right click, and pulls up a window that it crashed. Whenever I start it back up, it says it wasn't able to restore session, then restores it anyway after I press to restore it. Another thing is whenever I try and upload a file onto a site it crashes as well. I'm on Mac OS x 13 and reinstalling firefox hasn't fixed it. This is relatively sudden, it happened about around 3 days ago for the first time, and at the same time I noticed it happening certain sites also started giving me '502 Bad Gateway' errors. Does anyone know what's happening and how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

I cannot find a way to add websites to the location permissions in Firefox Windows PC. I can easily get to the "Location Permissions settings " but there is no way to add, only remove. When I display the access icon in the URL address bar, it shows " you have granted the website additional permissions" , but the site does not display in the FF Settings-Location Box, and the target website does allow me access based on location. Is there another area where location is restricted? would appreciate some help, thx.

When streaming a video and using PiP, after opening another window or program and then pausing said video that is currently being played on the PiP player window, sometimes this causes the actual video itself being played via the PiP player window to freeze. So the video is paused and I want to resume play but when clicking the 'play' button on the PiP player window the video refuses to play.

The only way to clear this bug is to click the 'close' button or the 'back to tab' button on the PiP player window and then refresh the actual web page. After refreshing the web page and repeating the same steps - the PiP player window works just fine with playing and pausing, but it's annoying that I have to do this.

Installed Firefox 122 in a new Windows 10 installation and added some extensions (e.g. Gesturefly, Update Scanner, uBlock Origin, Uppity). These pinned fine on my old installation. But I cannot find how to pin them on the new.

All the help I have found Googling, or using search here, says go to the Add-ons Manager page and right-click the extension and use "pin to toolbar". Alternatively click the extension and click the gear icon and use "pin to toolbar". But when I right-click there is no pin to toolbar context menu entry. If I left-click the gear I get "Check for Updates, View Recent Updates, Install Add-on From File, Debug Add-ons, Update Add-ons Automatically, Reset All Add-ons to Update Automatically, Manage Extension Shortcuts". If I right-click the gear I get a line of icons (left, right, reload, star) followed by "Open Image in New Tab, Copy Image Link, Email Image, Save Page As, Select All, View Pate Source, Inspect Accessibility Properties, Inspect (Q)". If I right-click the extension in the Add-ons Manager page itself, I get a very similar list. In no case is there a pin to toolbar option.

How do I pin an extension, given the above? What have I messed up?

I am unable to connect to mozilla website using firefox. It works fine on other browsers, but i get an "we're having trouble finding that site" error. I am able to open other sites on firefox.

The USPS website does not work properly with Firefox!! The Home page loads okay but there are multiple other issues with links not working. For instance all of the links under Quick Tools do not work except this one: https://www.usps.com/manage/po-boxes.htm. Other things don't work either.

Everything works fine that I tried with Google Chrome though! Please address soon.

Downloads Save all files in the following folder: Downloads Ticked Ask every time where to save a file

Applications Portable Document Format (PDF): Open in Firefox How should Firefox deal with other files? Ticked Ask whether to open or save files

On specific websites when I click on a pdf link, Firefox opens and automatically saves the file to Downloads folder without asking whether to save and where to save despite the above settings. As far as I remember, on other websites when clicking a pdf link Firefox only opens the corresponding file and doesn't save.

How can it be disabled that Firefox automatically saves PDFs?

I have been playing a game on facebook for years. 4 days ago It stopped working. Other players are saying that they had to switch browsers ( to Chrome and others) and they are able to play the games. Why can I not play on Firefox?

This is the message I get. "Please unblock challenges.cloudflare.com to proceed." I can do nothing.

Things I've tried. Adding exceptions in the privacy settings in 2 seperate areas. Resetting Browser deafults. Turning off all vpn's and addons.

Nothing works.
