I'm trying to import my passwords from chrome and cannot get it to work. I've set signon.management.page.fileImport.enabled to true and have tried both directly importing from chrome and creating a csv file and copying from that, but chrome won't copy passwords over directly and when using the csv file almost all the passwords are listed as missing fields and won't copy over. I'm unsure if there's something i'm missing in teh copy process or if i'm just stuck manually copying over passwords

since about tuesday I cannot log into Google, Youtube etc. accounts anymore but only in Firefox, Safari still works. When I try to log in it tells me my browser was not secure and asks me to reset my mail account.

Version 120.0.1 on M1 Mac. Already reset Firefox to no avail even without any extensions.

Every time I open Firefox, it asks to update. This started two or three days ago, and it's getting annoying. Am I the only one this is happening to? Do I need to remove it and start over?

I had to totally rebuild my system from the bottom up. I had a copy of my old profile stored in the cloud, so I figured I was OK. When, I copied the files from the saved profile to my new profile, everything came over except my bookmarks. I copied the places.squlite and favicons.squlite files (which I understood to contain my bookmarks) separately and pasted them separately into the new profile, but to no avail. I used to keep a separate backup of my bookmarks, but when I learned that the bookmarks were kept in the profile, I stopped. How far up the creek have I gotten myself stuck, and is there a way to restore my bookmarks?

I recently performed a system reset and upon re downloading Firefox I can't seem to find any of my 50+ tabs that I had open previously, all of them I need for one reason or another, history is empty, can anyone please help explain how to get them back in simple steps?

I use to be able to work on one app/window and hover over multiple tabs to obtain brief details on the browser (tabs) as it sits behind the app/window I'm currently working on. Since about a week ago, this feature has gone away. Now I have to be on the browser to be able to hover over the tabs to obtain the info I need on the tabs. I do this to compare the order # that displays on the tabs for what I use it for. How do I get this feature back. I want to be able to hover over tabs to view the small details even when not currently on the browser itself. Please help.

We write an SDK that needs to detect what subdomain a site is running on. For example to detect that app.foo.example.com.au and web.foo.example.com.au share example.com.au

In order to do that we check if we can set a cookie on `.au` that fails. Then `.com.au` also fails, then `example.com.au` and that succeeds

This is safe and fast and leaks no information not already available to any JS running in the page.

In most browsers this is fine. In Firefox it is also fine _except_ it logs a warning to the console that a cookie was rejected. This then causes users to open a support ticket with us in order to find out about "the error"

Is it possible for us to suppress this log?

Embedded links in Outlook email on Windows 10 will not open automatically when the new email is first opened to be read if Firefox has been selected as the default Browser. This is a new issue !

The message is" if there are problems with how this message is displayed, click HERE to view it in a web browser " and then the Browser used is only Edge!

Restoring disliked Edge to be the default browser corrects the issue but Edge is a known tracking device.

Firefox for some reason fails to print the document. Each time a “Print” button on viewer’s toolbar is clicked, an NS_ERROR_FAILURE error appears in the console (see screenshot). Other buttons work as intended. The PDF itself is rendered correctly. The only issue is printing in Firefox.

When you use Google's Translator, this application automatically adds a link to Firefox's history each time you modify even a tiny bit of what you are translating.

This means that sometimes, you can add 1,000 links within a day when you incrementally translate a piece of text, what is the default way to do.

Today, two minutes of that work generated 40 links!

In my history, there are in between 50,000 of these, despite regularly deleting many of them.

Even on a relatively fast notebook, deleting 1,000 links in the history takes minutes.

I posted the problem to Google Translate as a feedback many times, but they never answered.

Is there a possibility within Firefox to selectively get rid of this permanent garbage?

I trying to combine two similar but different boookmark lists on my Firefox browser but haven't been able to find a working solution. I could use some good advice where I don't need to download any sort of app.

Hello to everybody, My question: Opening local .mdb files (MS Access database) does no longer work in Firefox 120, but was ok in previous releases. The only choice is to save the file rather than onening it with MS access. Under Firefox settings/applications the file type .mdb does not appear. If I answer the question "What should Firefox do with other files?" with "Ask whether to open or save files" it has no effect at all. I expect to find an entry for .mdb files where to choose "always ask" as was the case earlier. Please help!

After updating to v120 my Firefox started behaving strangely. With v119 I was able to fire up my Linux and Firefox and had immediate access to both Gmail and Calendar. Now I am requested to sign in every time, are offered a Shareable Calendar (for which I have no use) and get a notification in my cell phone reporting a new login. It would appear that the problem lies in syncing as WhatsApp Web is also requesting scanning its QR code every time too. This is most annoying. No settings were changed after the update. As a temporary solution I grabbed a v119 tar.gz from my wife's laptop and installed it in mine. Now all is behaving normally as before. Am I doing something wrong? Will appreciate any help you can provide.

Hello, Firefox somehow crashed. Opening did not reinstall the tabs. This has happened couple of times in the past 10+ years and I was able to recall from History to reinstall the Tabs. Now I don't see that function in the Menu. Please help. I know there is a time limit to re-install them.

Still image quality good but videos are over-saturated in colour. Same videos in Chrome videos are not over-saturated. Many people have this issue but no solution in search results.
