Been using Firefox for over a decade. But lately is has become so slow now. Often freezes up if more than two tabs are open or a website is in any way very complex. What settings and issues should I check? What has changed? I can run the same sites on Brave and Edge browsers with no issues or not nearly as slow and bogged down.
Constant freezing on this one website.

On a random basis, sites like msn.com, yahoo mail or outlook.com will freeze. Sometimes they may suddenly come back to life, but the normal fix is delete tab and restart tab. Long videos may also freeze. Have cleared history, and changed optimization setting but nothing helps. On 151.0.2 64 bit.
I really think you guys need to look into what's going on with the VPN version of Firefox because I think there's a problem with it.

It appears that using the VPN helps, but it's still a huge problem.

I've been using Tabliss on Firefox without any issues, but immediately after updating to Firefox 151.0, a frustrating new loading delay started happening.
Prior to the update, new tabs loaded instantly. Now, whenever I open a new tab, the page sits on a completely blank screen for about 2 seconds before the Tabliss layout, background image, and widgets finally pop in.
Because this issue did not exist at all before version 151.0, it seems like the latest browser update changed how extension-based new tabs are cached or initialized, causing a new rendering bottleneck.

Firefox is already running , but is not responding. The old Foxfire process must be closed to open a new window.

i tried firefox, zen and librewolf but every of them has the same problem. smooth scrolling is sometimes good but sometimes so slow and laggy, especially in a tab that has a video. in tabs that has a video always have that issue and tabs that not has a video does it sometimes. its like scrolling is in 60hz when it happens. i tried uninstalling lots of times but didnt fix.
