Last night I decided I'd get rid of the little triangle on my id icon telling me my account is disconnected. I succeeded getting rid of it, but it screwed up my url for my homepage. Now when I try to set my homepage (c:/Users/mnose/Pictures/Pictures/Kidz/Photo-0002.jpg) I get this message: file:///c:/Users/mnose/Pictures/Pictures/Kidz/Photo-0002.jpg " The address wasn’t understood

Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (cfile) isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context."

How do I get rid of this, and how do I set up my homepage? It's been set the same way for over 10 years until last night. It's very frustrating that there's no explanation.

Everytime i open mozilla, its just gives me the blank page. i go to the settings and change it but when i close mozilla and open it again it gives me blank page. i cant understand the problem.

My Hoepage is set to Firefox. In the center of that page is a Search box which I used always. Now when I try to type in it, my cursor shoots up to the top to the ADDRESS bar. I do NOT want to SEARCH from the address bar. I want to search in the Firefox search box. I also have Duckduckgo set up in that search bar. After the last 2 Firefox updates, I can no longer type my search in that box, but can ONLY search in the ADDRESS bar. Please help be restore the use of the Firefox Search box.

Normally Firefox sponsor ads on home page occasionally inserts an new ad. I will support some occasional ads by clicking on the new ad to give Firefox 'click credit' then deleting new ad. Today when I delete the new ad another pops up 10-15 times an will not stop. That is too much. I do voluntarily support Firefox with monthly donation.

How do I stop the constantly returning ads?

With the old FIREFOX Start/home page I could have up to 4 lines of bookmarks showing on my start up/home page, but now there are only 8 showing. Can I add more, and if so how? Thanks

Recently I have had to sign in to my sbcglobal.net email account every single time I open Firefox on my desktop computer. Firefox is default and my sbcglobal.net mail account is set as my home page. This is not a problem on my iPhone. What is the problem with the desktop and why did it start within the last week or 2?

I'm trying to diagnose an unusual problem on a relative's computer elsewhere in the country via TeamViewer. When Firefox is initiated, the same picture (a man taking a shower) appears, and the VERY 'long URL starts with a Yahoo image file (yimg) and also contains buzzfeed.com well into that URL. I thought I could easily diagnose this, and have failed. Home page is set to blank page. I cleared all browsing data. When that failed I exported bookmarks, created a new profile, and the problem still continued, even before importing the bookmarks or adding any extensions. Something is retaining the unwanted startup behavior. Tonight, out of desperation, I will reconnect and look through the registry.

Can anyone surmise why an unwanted URL is being invoked upon Firefox startup?

I get three grey boxes at the top right of the Firefox start-up page. See the attached image. They dissappear if I search and enter another web page. The only way I can get rid of them is to reset Firefox. They return within 24 hours.

Hello Mozilla support team,I am facing some issues. I saved about 15-20 URL and pined them on my home page but from 2 days before i couldn't see anything on my home page. please ,help me to solve this problem,,,,i have some important URL's there.I also add a screenshot of my home page . I manually added shortcuts to my home screen, but everytime I open the browser, the system automatically has added shortcuts I don't want. Also, when I delete these unwanted shortcuts, another unwanted one appears.

how can I stop this from happening?

I want shortcuts, but not the ones I visit, just the ones I save. Is there a way to make it just the ones I save, or I have to have both. If I must have both, please make it so that its separate.
