I have cleared my cache, my history, disabled all addons, added sites to my exceptions list for popups and for my virus and malware protection, the works. I still cannot log into Ko-fi nor any site that requires proof I am human. I have had to use Chrome, which is ridiculously unsecure. I have contacted Ko-fi and they have no answer. I cannot access these sites on my tablet nor my desktop, just my phone. Using just my phone is very tedious, especially for anything where I need to type things.

Does anyone know what is happening that could cause this?

My default search engine has always been Firefox for years. Since the last Firefox update, when I select + and get to a New Tab, the search engine changes to Google.

I am on Windows 10. I want the New Tab to stay with Firefox. Any tips?

Facebook's help page says their "end-to-end encryption" will only work with Edge and Chrome. Is anyone at Mozilla working on making Firefox compatible with this? I only use Firefox for Facebook messaging, since I don't trust those other browsers, or the Messenger app, which I know for a fact is a trojan. But as it is, I have an incoming message that I can't read. Thanks.

Every available browser that can be installed on MacOS has no problem loading the configuration webpage of Cisco devices, except Firefox. Its on its last legs, about to be deleted. I need to completely disable all https on Firefox and only permit http......permanently. How do I do that?

Just the past week, if I leave the browser open for a while, it hangs when I try to refresh a tab or open a new one. I've got 7 tabs open (could this be too many?) I have to close the browser and restart and then it works. I've been using Firefox for years and years and this is the first time I've ever experienced this.

I would like to be able to download thunderbird addons as part of a automated provisioning process using ansible. I am currently unable to download addons due to cloudflare bot protection. Is there an authorized/authenticated means available to achieve this?

I am trying to work with an older piece of equipment that has an internet interface, a local IP 192.168.1.x

When I try to connect with FireFox I get the error "Warning Potential Security Risk". When I continue the error message is "MOZILLA_PKIX Error Self Signed CERT"

Accepting the "risk" things seem to work for a while. However, after several timeouts and reconnects FF will not connect. If on the other hand I just let things run without making changes the connections stays up without an issue (until I start making adjustments).

Looking at the certificate (from ~2012) yes it is from the manufacture. There is also a "Finger print"

Is there anyway to bypass this warning/blocking to eliminate the FF/equipment interface from my troubleshooting problem?

Running FF 138 64-bit on Win 10 Home, and tabs won't combine. When I move one tab over another, I get NO GLOWING RING, and the tabs just swap places as I move the first tab over the second one, no matter how slowly I move them. It doesn't work in Vertical Tabs, either.

Backed up Thunderbird, with no issues, to external hard drive. Attempted same with Firefox but copy did not take place. Upon next boot for Firefox the system flagged "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible" I have appended OLD to the original profile and created a new folder. Firefox now loads and operates. Could you please advise the best way to retrieve my OLD profile.

No doubt I had something to do with the (fancy font uppercase in bold) B appearing in my Firefox header line as the first and left-most character (image attached). Anyone know the source for this and how to shut it and anything else it does off? I like many others I have read commenting about unwanted things thru the PC years that have a disdain of things that sneak through uninvited.

The other thing so far as I know had nothing to do with Mozilla or Firefox but I'll mention it in case someone has an idea. A product install by the same name permanently labeled an outboard drive with this label bold text'Roboform2Gobold text. I know how it got there, it was with the install the product by that name, which I uninstalled, and no one from that company would or couldn't tell me how to get rid of the relabeling it had done. Uninstalling the software didn't take it out, and no one in a general forum had any suggestions. I know the traditional approach of adding or changing a label, but change attempts don't affect this reminder of a poor product that I had decided not to keep. They refunded, but did not help with the changeless drive label.

How can I transfer all of my data and settings from Mozilla Firefox to the Firefox ESR version. I have Windows 7. I installed the ESR version but all of my bookmarks and settings disappeared. I still have the current version of Mozilla Firefox, which is no longer supported. If I can't easily and quickly incorporate all of my current settings, etc., to the temporary ESR version, and I uninstall the ESR version without that operation automatically uninstalling the current version?

I use an iMac and Macbook Pro. Autofill that used to work is no longer working on both of these when I go to USPS.com and sign up for updates on packages. It use to fill in my name on the top line and on the bottom line, it would fill in my email.

What can I do to get this feature back? It stopped working around the beginning of 2025.
