I used to not have issues with Firefox but in recent weeks Firefox has crashed so much that it's becoming increasingly unusable for me - I've had 63 crashes in the last 24 hours, including 6 in the process of writing this post. The crashes do not seem to be caused by any specific website or action, and they still occur in safe mode. It is becoming increasingly rare for Firefox to last more than a few minutes without crashing. Any information that would alleviate me of this problem would be greatly appreciated. I just upgraded my computer to a 1 tb hard drive and installed windows 10. Now firefox doesn't work right, example: I go on Facebook or another site and when I try to type a post I have to type 2 or 3 letters, then wait several seconds for them to appear. I have re-position my cursor and type 2 or 4 more letters and wait again. Can this be fixed?

Every time I open Firefox it brings up a screen as if I am a brand new user starting out for the very first time. The disk image in my downloads folder has long since been deleted, so I'm pretty sure it's not running from that. I went and looked at "application binary" and it gave me a headache, plus there was no indication in the prior "support" replies of what the changes I might or might not observe therein would mean, so I was unmotivated to keep turning Firefox off and on and then checking to see if any of the characters in the very long text string had changed. I seem to have about 10 profiles, none of which have been created by me on purpose. I tried opening a couple of them, and got messages about various updates Firefox wanted to perform, but none of the opening screens had my information loaded. I've just lost a half hour of my life down this rathole this morning, and I still haven't gotten around to completing the search which was the reason I opened Firefox this morning in the first place. Imma have to go back and use Safari I guess, since Safari isn't suffering from "Susan Amnesia"

Firefox is set to restore previous session on startup. I quit Firefox, turned off my computer, turned it back on again, and opened Firefox. It did not restore the previous session, and it had logged me out. I logged back in again, but it still did not restore.

All the help articles, like this one (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-restore-my-tabs-last-time) say to go to the menu and select "Restore Previous Session". However this is not available for me - see attached screenshot.

If I click on a hyperlink anywhere (in an email for instance) that launches Firefox (my default browser) it works but the top level menu of Firefox (File, Edit, View etc.) is not visible. I can hover over where it should be and see partal dropdown menus. The same hyperlink works fine if I make Safari my default browser. I have Catalina 10.15.2 - Firefox 72.0.1. I have tried changing screen appearnace from light, to dark to auto and have also disabled add-ons in Firefox. Any advice much appreciated.

This has happened one other time in the past but the problem went away and i dont remember what I did, but the problem is back. Firefox is saving my login info for email sites and amazon and the dropdown with saved login even shows on private browsing windows. The Logins and Passwords and Forms and Autofills are all unchecked and I have checked to make sure there weren't logins or passwords or Forms data saved.

Attached is a dummy login that I used in yahoo mail and a screeshot of my Firefox privacy settings.

I recently tried a Mozilla.cfg and Local-setting.js fix to prevent saving passwords permanently on the browser but that did help either

On only one of my computers a "tab" is opening on its own that presents itself as being from ROGERS my ISP. I took a screen shot and captured the URL. Contacted Rogers - It is not them - They recommeded I REMOVE FIREFOX and INSTALL CHROME. I have some computer knowledge but not an expert. I tried to get rid of this by running Norton antivirus, and FIX ME STICK antivirus and I removed and then re-installed Firefox - the bogus page keep coming back. this is the page https://ivisitorapp.top/43fee1ba2ffc1ec8587395fc843ce6c5/index.html?ip=2607%3Afea8%3A9920%3Ad8e6%3A8467%3Acf0b%3Acca0%3A8171&trackid=2020011401450327 It is NOT ROGERS
