I'm running Mojave 10.14.6 on a MacMini (late 2018) with 64 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 and Firefox v86.0 64-bit.

I need to disable Command+D that's currently used to "Bookmark This Page".

I need Command+D for another use.

I've searched about:config for "bookmark" and get a lot of hits, but I can't tell which one controls the setting for Command+D.

Or . . . am I barking up the wrong tree?

I want to disable Command+D.

Leaving the ability to mouse up and click Bookmarks > "Bookmark This Page" is ok.

I just need to disable the keyboard shortcut Command+D for "Bookmark This Page".

Anyone got a "howto" for this?

Hi, I wonder if someone can help me log into the KeyBank website. I keep getting this message: "Due to technical concerns, your current version of Firefox is no longer an option for KeyBank online banking. Nothing is wrong with your account. Prior to FF97 a simply setting to "false" the about:config, print.tab_modal.enabled setting allowed FF to always use the system dialog box when printing. However, in FF97, this is no longer the case. How can I set FF97 to always use the system print dialog box??

I almost always use Preview printing on my Macs to avoid multiple pages of garbage so this is fairly important to me...and it might help to save a few trees...

I'm using firefox 97 on mac. Whenever I copy and paste an image from firefox, the image comes out desaturated as if it is using the wrong color profile. I tried changing the gfx.color_management settings without it improving. The images look fine and are the right colors in the browser, however, the issue only happens when I copy and paste images. Firefox behaves like the color management is disabled (set to 0 in config) but ONLY when copying and pasting images.

I do not have this issue with other browsers such as chrome.

I am in the process of moving all of our passwords into 1Password. However, I discovered that my wife has her Firefox set to auto login, but can't remember her user name and password. So, although she can use it, she can't change update the password. The fact that on setup, auto login is the default makes this doubly frustrating. So, is there any way to get to the password?

Thought I should bring it to your attention. My default browser is Firefox and I use Earthlink as my email. Earthlink just informed me that Firefox no longer supports Earthlink. They have asked me to switch to Google Chrome where my email works fine. If you need to contact me , my phone is [phone# removed from public] and my name is Ken Westlund. When I download an attachment from Gmail, I would like to just download it. However, Firefox now opens the attachment in a new tab before I can download it. Is this new? Is there a way to turn this off?

I wanted to upgrade and update my Firefox to the latest version. Encountered some errors so I uninstalled the old version and reinstalled Firefox' latest version. Now all of a sudden all my Add-ons / Plugins / Extentions on the latest version of Firefox for Mac OS is gone...

I have been noticing that Firefox browser is being manipulated to obtain confidential information from users.

Is Firefox doing anything to stop this? The crooks who are most likely military and Others affiliated with the government are surreptitiously accessing US Citizens computers and silently obtaining credit card information, banking, Venmo, Zelle Apple Cash, etc. and ROBBiNG citizens.

This is no joke. is Mozilla doing anything to protect their browsers from these hoodlums and corrupt government officials and there hired contractors?

I'd love to have Firefox release version and Firefox beta installed side-by-side on my Mac. Is it possible? If not, how do I make it so without encountering weird problems? If any from Firefox's dev team are reading this, please just make this possible. Chrome and Edge do it. Firefox should, too, IMO. Thank you.

Problem with Firefox opening two windows when connecting from another application link. STILL NOT FIXED. Running on Mac OS Monterey 12.5. There are numerous complaints about this bug but it never got fixed. It has become extremely annoying to me.

Microsoft Excel is no longer listed i Applications as download option. All files downloaded automatically are stored as Microsoft Word files, not just excel files. I can change individual files manually to .xlsx which is a nuisance, but this also happens with Zip files (7Zip) and I am at a loss as to how to change them when they are downloaded as a Word document.

This does not happen on a newer MacBook Pro, but I need it to work with the older version. The older Mac is MacBook Pro 9.2 with MacOS Catalina Version 10.15.7 Firefox is version 103.0

For example: When I'm working on a Washington Post (LATimes) crossword puzzle, the internal link to "settings" doesn't work on Firefox, but it does on Safari.

For example: When I'm on the website for my apartment building, the internal links to "maintenance requests" and "make payments" work on Safari but not on Firefox.

See subject above. Their instruction doesn't apply to my mac. I like weather.com, but not enough to pay for it and I can't get past their screen with their instructions while on Firefox. I don't have the symbol they want me to click. It just happened today.

When I click to open a dropdown, it opens and then immediately shuts back up again. I have to maintain pressure on the left click to keep the box open. Any ideas?

My Mac: macOS Monterey 12.5.1 Firefox: 105.0.1 Since I updated my system Firefox has trouble loading and closing some pages, especially my BOA and ATT.net email accounts. Any thoughts on why this is happening and what to do about it? It's especially concerning with the sites I go to to pay bills.

ATT.net I can sign in OK but then I get a page that says redirecting and it never loads. When I use Chrome, I'm not having a problem. All my bookmarks are set in Firefox so I'd rather not have to change them all over to Chrome. I can sign into my BOA account with no problem. When I sign out of BOA I get a window with a spinning dial that says signing out please wait but it never stops, leaving me wondering if it's exposed.
