I can't change the name of one of my firefox profiles. I have an error where the name is too long and it cannot be changed. Is there any way to do this other than creating a new profile and deleting the old one?

When i open a picture from a page, and want to save it on my computer, I right click on the picture to save it. At that very same second, Firefox freeze and I need to open the activity manager to close it.

What also confuse me there, when I find Firefox, there is a number behind the name, like: Firefox(7) Does it mean that 7 Firefox is opened in the background?

What is the problem?

To save a picture now, I need to use Edge.

I'm trying to set an exception to popup blocking. When I enter the URL of the website in question and click Allow, the URL ought to appear in the list of exceptions; instead nothing happens. This is a relatively new installation, and I haven't tried to enter an exception before; therefore the list is (and remains) empty.

I'm using Firefox 117.0.1 (64 bit) under Windows 11.

I want to export my chats in Markdown and I don't like how bloated Superpower GPT is, I just need to download chats. I wonder if this has to do with the [relatively new addon domain restrictions feature](https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/addons-restricted-domains). I followed the instructions on that page to set `extensions.webextensions.addons-restricted-domains@mozilla.com.disabled` to `true` in about:config. The addon still doesn't work after restarting Firefox.

After a Firefox restart for a version upgrade, there are 8 windows listed in the Windows menu, but only 4 are visible. Trying to select one of the invisible windows from the window menu, or cycling through open windows with cmd-` displays nothing. I tried checking other desktops to see if the windows had landed there, but they're not. The missing windows don't show up in Mission Control.

I also tried exiting FIrefox, deleting the xulstore.json file, and restarting. This had no effect.

I'm on a 2021 M1 Max MacBook Pro Firefox 117.0.1 Mac OS 13.5.2 (22G91)

Any ideas? This is a weird one.

when i open a new tab,add on managers tab also opens. open another tab same thing, so if i have 4 tabs open also have 4 add on managers open it dose not do it in troublshoot mode

Now, A reply from "Paul" said this is a google issue and it is not. I have 3 gmails and I can't open one of my email accounts using Firefox but I can open it through Microsoft Edge. I have emailed Google about this so far I have been ignored so, when I discovered that it would open through Edge and Chrom this told me it's an issue with Firefox not google and the problem started with the last firefox update. So, I already know it's not an issue with google and I have no problem with my other email accounts just the one.

On a site with a menu along the top the rightmost item is missing, and only in Firefox, not Chrome or Edge. It happens on various pages with the same menu setup. I cleared cookies & cache, turned off extensions, no luck. See attached image. What could the problem be ?

When I opening new webpage, for 1-2 second's i see white blank page (which is normal), the question is: how can I protect my eyes and change this default blank white color screen to something... darker?

Addon "Dark Reader" did not help.

I have Mac Pro 2018 and having a problem with Thin Lines on left side of the browser (Firefox Mac) i can't find anyone on line with same problem explaining how they resolved the issue!

None of my pw managers are working on Firefox now. They use to. The extensions are in place. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the managers. I have reviewed the settings in Firefox and notice nothing that would stop any of the managers to work. They allow for the email to be populated but the actual passwords will not. And as I said this is the same for any of the password managers I have, i.e., not just one. Should I uninstall Firefox?
