I have had to download FF28 and downgrade due to FF29 being totally unsuitable to my needs. Please make security and skins 2 different issues.
It seems to me that every time Firefox updates the browser, there is some kind of design thing that pisses off a bunch of people, myself included. You seem to have a sizable part of your fan base that has spent all the time they want to spend on getting the controls, the gui experience just right. We are told that nobody forces us to use the new browser and here is the link to the now unsecure version. I would like to suggest whenever you have an update that is required to fix a security flaw, include a ticker option to include any new skins that might be involved. You surely do not have to change the layout to something that folks are possibly going to hate just to fix a security flaw. Let us make the decision on whether we want to try out a new design. If some of us want to try the new design we should be able to click yes, I'll try it. If we don't like it we can go back and download the new version again and not click yes this time. Firefox has been my browser of choice for years now due to the fact of options, options, options. Completely customizable to a larger base of people, but when you force a design change on people that is more properly called a skin, you lose and we do too.

The interface you see in Firefox 29 is a major re-design (first one since Firefox 4) of Firefox's user interface called "Australis."
Here are a few suggestions for restoring the old design. I hope you’ll find one that works for you:
- Use the Classic Theme Restorer to bring back the old design. Learn more here: How to make the new Firefox look like the old Firefox
- Use the Add-on Bar Restored to bring back the add-on bar. Learn more here: What happened to the Add-on Bar?
Or if you want to go back to a previous version, completely feel free to use the old, unsupported, and insecure versions of Firefox. Please remember that this puts your machine and personal data at an increased risk. You may then wish to mitigate that by having well rehearsed bare metal restore strategies or using a virtual machine.

Please remember to be wary of what sites you download from as they may advertise Firefox 22 for example and package it as a Beta, RC, or other pre-release version and may have malware/adware or other unwanted items.

Thank you for the response, yes I've read this one many times, but thank you. I would like to leave this thread open for a bit to get user input. That way we can pass on any improvements that other minds bring. Thanks again.
The problem with Australis is the inability to change things.
1. Inactive tabs are invisible and they say they made this intentionally. Fine but give us the option. 2. Reload button is fixed and can't be moved 3. "most visited web pages drop down button" is tiny and can't be moved.

Really annoying that firefox developers keep removing options and then try to explain why this way is better. I don't want it this way. God damn.
