Using Firefox in different users on a Mac

Hi, I installed the latest version of Firefox on my Mac, on the main user of the Mac, then when I tried to open Firefox on another user of the same Mac (it should had installed the previous version of firefox) it doesn't work, I mean, it didn't start even after double clicked. After that, I did install the newer version of Firefox on that user of the Mac and it do runs perfectly. But my surprise was that when I returned to the main user of the Mac, it didn't run Firefox...if I repeat the process (install again the newer version of Firefox) it stops working on the other user. Could anyone help me with this? How can I get Firefox works on different users of the same Mac>

How to download and install Firefox on Mac doesn't mention having multiple "regular" or "admin" user accounts. I'm not a Mac expert but maybe you're having a "permissions" problem? I found this bug you can look through, in case it helps:

  • Bug 287246 - User with "Read only" privileges cant start Firefox

If you need more help and no one answers you here, you could try Apple's support or discussions.apple.com where there are more Mac users who might recognize the problem
