Forefox 16.0.2 on MAC OSX 10.8.2 with most current Adobe Shockwave Flash will not open You Tube videos. Photo of video shows, it seems to load, but then nothing happens. I have gone through all the suggestions on your site and spent a great deal of time and still cannot reach a solution. This is very maddening, as much as I love Firefox.

I did as you suggested, updating Real Player. But as fortune would have it, incredibly this morning Adobe notified me automatically that they had an updated Flash Player, I installed that, and all works just fine now with You Tube. This irritates me a little because I went to see if there was an update and was told no, bt yet here one came. So sorry to bother you guys and just let me say your responses were very helpful and responsive. Thank you. I had to use Safari for a few days and did not like it. Love my Firefox!

Did you try the solution given in this article?

Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox (applies to Flash 11.3 and above)
Solution 1: If you have RealPlayer installed - update it

If that doesn't resolve the problem, maybe something here will help (and let us know what you've tried already)

P.S. it's not a good idea to use your e-mail address as your username. You can request a change of username for Firefox Support by posting a request in the contributors forum, https://support.mozilla.org/forums/contributors with the title "[ATTN: Admin] Request to change username"
