Can't log in to Photobucket.com

I use my Photobucket account almost daily. I had my user name and pass word saved and had been using the site for months with no problem. Three days ago I try to log in and it give an error message that the User or PW are incorrect. It does this both in Firefox and Explorer. I requested the site provide a new pass word, the site indicated the PW had been sent. I never received. I have went through it completely, over and over. Check spam filter. Check junk mail. Check emails on email host server. Clear history and cookies. I uninstalled Fire Fox and reinstalled. I contacted the site support was told to do all the things I have done. I downloaded and installed Chrome, It works on Chrome but still does not work on Fire Fox or Explorer. I want it to work on FireFox. Can you help?

When you cleared the history, did you include Firefox's cache?

To clear Firefox's Cache:

orange Firefox button or Tools menu > Options > Advanced

On the Network mini-tab > Offline Storage : "Clear Now"


If you have Firefox save logins, you can clear your Photobucket login here:

orange Firefox button or Tools menu > Options > Security

click the "Saved Passwords" button


If those don't help, perhaps an add-on is interfering? You can use Firefox's Safe Mode or a new Firefox profile for diagnosis.

First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See Backing up your information. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)

Next, save any work and then use Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled to start up Safe Mode. In the dialog, don't check any boxes, just click "Continue in Safe Mode".

Can you log in? If so, an add-on might be causing the problem.

Thanks for your reply. I cleared it and it made no difference.

I see, you cleared cache and any saved passwords for the site and that didn't help.

Did you try Safe Mode?

Did you try clearing cookies in both Firefox and Internet Explorer? They could have become corrupted. Usually unable to login to website issues are due to corrupted cookies.

You can try deleting only the photobucket cookies first. But if that doesn't work, delete all the cookies.
