Man this is annoying. Why is it so hard to copy bookmarks from Firefox to Seamonkey. I backed up my Firefox bookmarks. It saves it to a JSON?? file. Only choice I had and don't have a clue what it is. Now I go to Seamonkey and try to import and it doesn't do it. I thought both browsers were made by the same people. How are you going to get people to use Mozilla when you make it so hard to understand? Maybe I'll just go back to IE. At least they have instructions on how to do things without jumping through hoops.

You can back them up to an HTML file.

  1. In the Bookmarks menu select either "Show All Bookmarks" or "Organize Bookmarks" (the name depends upon the version of Firefox you have), this opens the bookmarks library
  2. In the bookmarks library select "Import and Backup", and then "Export HTML"

This will export the bookmarks to an HTML file that can be imported into many other browsers including SeaMonkey

Thanks Tony, was getting frustrated. Stupid me should have saw that, only looked at backup, not HTML.
