upon opening, does not show current date, must manually refresh page
when initially opening firefox, it does not reflect the current date. I must refresh the screen to go to the current date.

A possible workaround is to use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the browser cache on exit. That will make Firefox load the pages from the server instead of using the version in the cache.
