So I'm on Firefox ESR 140.6.0 on debian 12.12 but I've noticed this problem with firefox in general (earlier versions) on Linux. When I am browsing with a few tabs open (4gb of memory on this laptop) suddenly on reddit or some random website, quite at random, everything freezes and I have to restart the laptop. Crash reporter doesn't start because the tab doesn't crash instead the entire laptop freezes - it happens only in firefox. How do I debug this problem? I think for some reason firefox gobbles up all my memory perhaps and that causes Linux to lock up. What do I do about this - it is quite frequent and frustrating but random - I can't say exactly when or on what site this will happen.
