Why do the search settings revert to moderate no matter how I set them? I am using the current versions of Firefox and Duckduckgo on Windows 11. Both are set to 'off', but revert to moderate as whenever Firefox is restarted.

pbeckemeier, if DuckDuckGo stores your filtering level in a cookie, and this cookie is cleared when Firefox closes, then this could explain why the search engine keeps reverting to a default setting?

have you set Firefox to clear cookies on exit? Or do you use DuckDuckGo in a private window? As again all settings saved in cookies will be lost when all private windos are closed.
