Is it intentional that forums are made difficult to find?
I have to jump through several hoops to arrive at a forum. It would be nice if there was a link to forums on the page the user goes to when looking for help.

Look at top where it says Get Help and also Contributor Tools
Get Help > Firefox Browser leads to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/desktop where it leads you to KB so you can look up articles on your issues. If that does not help then look to right where it says "Still need help?" box as it links to the form to create a new thread in the (desktop) Firefox section as you did here.
