error code: 0x800700002 when installing Firefox
I recently removed Firefox from my PC with the intention to reinstall it right away via the windows store, for the purpose of getting Firefox updates automatically.
However, I have been trying in the past few days to install the app and am running into the same error as the installation begins.
I deleted any reminiscence of Mozilla folders from my C drive and ran deep cleaning of cache files on my PC and nothing helps. Please help me resolve this issue, I would like to keep using Firefox...

You can download and install Firefox from the Mozilla server if you have a problem with installing the MSIX version from the Microsoft Store.
You can find the full installer of the current Firefox release (111.0.1) in all languages and all operating systems here:

I am aware of this possibility, this is how I have had Firefox so far. however, after the recent update there was an official recommendation saying that downloading Firefox off the windows store would keep the software up-to-date with no hassle.
the idea of having it as a app on my PC appealed to me, therefore I would appreciate help with this error message so I could proceed with the installation through the Windows store and not the official Firefox website.
