In an email, when I click on "click here to view it in a web browser," zillions of Firefox tabs open. This happens with emails from different senders, but they work fine elsewhere.

Here is what the zillions of tabs have in the address box: file:///C:/Users/Glynis/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/INetCache/Content.Outlook/JIB181TP/email%20(004).mht

I have a PC running Windows 10 and use Microsoft Outlook desktop on Exchange.

Thanks.

You get tabs opening endlessly if you select Firefox as the application to handle a file when you get an "Open with" dialog where Firefox doesn't support this file type. You will have to remove this action.

Thanks, but Firefox opens the file just fine on my MacBook.

Firefox doesn't know how to handle .mht files, so it doesn't make sense to open such a file in Firefox.

The two links Firefox can't open on my Windows 10 PC from Microsoft Outlook emails are this: https://go.mondoworldwide.com/webmail/584103/982549990/3d42b4bd9123a89b6d828f98fa278e7a7544bd5a368f3eb5cb884f604a464168

and this: https://www.arcamax.com/ezinesamples/358.html.

They open fine on Firefox on my MacBook.

Thanks.
