website no longer loads after recent update
www.bom.gov.au no longer loads, but will load on Chrome. Never had any trouble before with Firefox with this site. Thank you

The BOM website only works when accessed via HTTP and not via secure HTTPS.
If a secure connection is forced then this website doesn't work and you get a warning page that a secure connection isn't supported.
Are you possibly using Private Browsing mode (Always use Private Browsing mode; Never Remember History) as that might be a cause for this website not working ?
If you use PB mode then try to set this pref to false about:config page.
- about:config => dom.security.https_first_pbm = false
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can click the button to "Accept the Risk and Continue".
