Sometime back, after an update, Firefox can no longer retain login data saved from one session to the next. I have checked and it seems to persist through the session it was saved in, but is gone the next time I start FF. I am running W10 in 64 bit mode on a HP Laptop (ProBook6455B With a full load of RAM and more SSD and HD storage than I can shake a stick at. I noticed that FF was not filling out login data after an update but I cannot recall from what version to what version. I thought to find out where FF is storing this data, possibly I should say attempting" to store this data, to see if the permissions are set right but I do not know where FF is trying to save this data. If the directory somehow got set to read only then that would explain the problem but I do not know how that could have happened. At any rate this feature of FF is all but crippled and I do not know what to do next. I've been using FF since way back around when it was first released for downloading and would hate to start having to use EDGE or CHROME instead. I hated Internet Explorer, and from what I have seen of the other two I mentioned I will not be a happy camper with either of these. I haven't loaded any extensions, but was thinking about trying the Zoom extension. Any suggestions?
