Security when adding other devices to my VPN account
I am concerned about having to input my password on a family member's device to add it to my VPN account. It does not seem a safe thing to do.

Nope, my question was definitely about VPN and was not about moving my data, but thanks for trying to help.

You can use sync to share data between profiles. But some data cannot be shared between different Firefox versions and computer systems.
Thanks for you response Fred.
Unfortunately, to be honest, your response is beyond my level of understanding. It doesn't appear to help me with my VPN question, but maybe I am just misunderstanding.
Are you saying although I pay for VPN on 5 devices I should not add other devices to my account?

We were talking about putting your data on someone else's system. Portable Firefox lets you carry your profile in your pocket without leaving (or clearing out) data on other's computers.
You should still be able to use your VPN.

That is something you have to take up with them.
