I've been using Firefox for a long time now, and I seem to have an absurd issue where I've updated Firefox and it's turned into Firefox for Mobile. Everything is horrendously bloated, and slow to use. Tabs take up an enormous amount of horizontal space, and that's actually much less of a problem than the amount of vertical space that's being taken up. I went into the customisation settings, and believed I'd solved my problem when I could swap between "Normal" and "Touch". I believe these have been mislabelled, as they actually appear to be "Mobile" and "Micro-screen". I've been able to re-enable "Normal" through about:config, although I know that's going to be removed soon, at which point I'll have to find a desktop browser again. Although even this is too large and bloated for some strange reason. However, while that at least temporarily solves the issue of the tab bar's height being incorrectly rendered at twice the size a sensible UX designer would put it as for use on a desktop machine, it doesn't fix the side menu which also suddenly has this absurd bloating between options. I now actually need to scroll in order to see anything below "Settings". My main question would be: Does anybody at Mozilla use a desktop PC? Or are you all building this on a mobile IDE? Because I can't imagine a developer looking at this on their desktop and saying "Ah, yes, I've removed a lot of visual space. This will surely help me."
