Awesome Partner takes thousands of bird pics. I store then on Google drive. How can I delete them from Downloads? Is there a bulk delete command? I'm using Firefox on a Linux computer.

thx.

Do you want to remove them from Firefox's downloads list (Ctrl+J list) or from your Downloads folder on disk? I don't think deleting them from Firefox's downloads list will actually remove them from disk, but I guess you could test it.

Downloads that appear in the Download folder are history items, so if all these items come from a shared internet location then you can do a search for this file path in the history and remove them there. This is only about removing them in Firefox from the history and doesn't affect the files you downloaded and saved on the hard drive like posted above.

The URL in your reply triggered the site's link moderation feature. Your post should appear eventually.

Meanwhile, if you go to your regular file browser and sort the Downloads folder by date, perhaps you can bulk move older files into a subfolder so they aren't in your face when trying to find things.

(As a Windows user, I can't provide specific steps for Linux file browsers...)
