I assume you see the email in a drop-down menu. Generally, that can be removed simply by using the arrow keys on your keyboard to highlight the item that you want to delete and then pressing the Delete button on your keyboard.

Hope this helps.

Hello dallasnuttan,

I visited   "Mitt Telenor"   yesterday and saw the same envelope icon with the word "webmail" next to it,  which didn't surprise me, as it's part of that site.

When I clicked on it, I was of course only prompted to create an account with them and signin.

They should not have told you that this is a Firefox issue;   this is between you and your email provider   (Firefox doesn't "do" email).

Only one other thing comes to mind, and that is to ask you if maybe you use Thunderbird ?

If that's the case, then maybe you could post this question on the Thunderbird support forum:

(I misspelled your display name earlier;   sorry .... )

When you contact your email provider again;   feel free to give them a link to this thread !

I don't use it myself, but this is what Thunderbird is about :
