Firefox crashes
had a repeating crash this morning, and have tried starting in safe mode, uninstalling and reinstalling, without success. Firefox simply will not open :-( Scanned with Malwarebytes Premium; computer is clean Currently researching and submitting using Opera Crash ID: bp-ac942df4-f38b-4175-a4c4-4acd81170618 clicking automatically add button takes me away from this page (I am in Opera, not firefox), so I get to https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/latest/troubleshooter/addon-426841-latest.xpi

hi, this looks like it may be caused by external software on the computer. please go into your system's control panel and remove any software labelled "Freecorder" or similar or by the publisher "Applian Technologies" or any other toolbars.

Took me a while to get back to the computer and this issue, and your solution worked! thanks very much.
