I've created a Sync account on iOS Firefox but can't log in to Os X Sync, I keep getting a "Firefox Accounts requires JavaScript." error. I'm on Firefox 48.0

After successfully creating a Sync account on iOS, whenever I try to log in and sync on Os X I either get a first page that says "No Connection" "Try again" so i try again and it goes to the usual "Firefox Accounts requires JavaScript. " with a little spinning blue circle. iOS syncs fine, there's just nothing to sync to.
