I have updated and then disabled all add-ons and followed every single thread and trouble shooting advice about this problem, and yet after the first tab opened, when Google works, it then is completely blocked and does not search... I have now spent (lost!) hours on this, but it still does not work, and I cannot run it permanently in safe mode. I even did a factory reset, and the problem is still there :-(
