how do I get a new password when the account has been wiped
I have used master reset for password but no explanation as to how I get back into my emails etc

If so, I hope you have your passwords saved elsewhere. From the 2nd KB page I linked - at the bottom ... Remember: Resetting your master password will remove all of your saved usernames and passwords.
If, not the Firefox Master Password - please explain the issue a little more completely.
