Firefox crashes when printing
I have had a problem with FF crashing when I print. This happens in Safe mode, as well as standard. Following instructions, I reset FF. No crash. I reset the home page to one of my choice, and crash occurred. I tried a couple of others (after resetting, again,) and the same thing happened.
This may be something to look at. As long as I have the default home page in place, I can print.

I've went ahead and contacted the Mozilla QA team as they are researching this bug (you can see the progress at bug 928168. If you must comment, please be sure to read the Bugzilla etiquette before posting.
Some great information to know more about your particular crash would be two things
- What kind of printer are you using?
- What home page are you setting Firefox to in order for this crash to happen?

I need to reopen this. (I am sure that I responded to these questions, though.) For a while, I thought that it was solved by staying on the default Firefox home page. However, the crash has reappeared.
So, to reiterate: Any time I try to print from FF, I get a crash.
I am using a Canon MF4350d. Mac OS 10.9.3 (Mavericks)

Same here Canon MX300 printer...no changes to anything , except I tried Waterfox yesterday, changed my mind and uninstalled it. Since then no printing. Only when I try to print from my online banking so must be an issue with secure pages perhaps? Works OK in other browsers. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling printer. I'm reluctant to reset Firefox as it's such a PITA setting it all up again. Surely there's an easier way?

I have the same issue. Firefox on a Windows XP workstation. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling FF but still no go.
It's no help resetting printing in FF either.
Or in Safe Mode.
I'm having a similar problem. I'm running Mac OS 10.6.8 and Firefox 32.0.1. For several months now, if I try to print from Firefox to a Minolta C451, Firefox immediately crashes when I hit "print." Since I don't always need color printing, I have been able to print to our secondary Kyocera laser printer if I was OK with B&W. However, just this week, Firefox started crashing just when I try to select the Kyocera printer instead of the Minolta!
I've tried various fixes (several months ago, so sorry I've forgotten). At one point, someone suggested making another printer the primary, temporarily, and that seemed to work, but then the problem started up again.
Frustrating! I can print from other applications. If I can open the item in Preview first or if I can download the item, I can print from those. But printing an email or printing a browser page, etc., causes an immediate crash.
